I'm from RadxLayouts_x3 and x__rad_bnrs__x! I've been contest searching lately, and I've realized that all the contests out there are just, "FADES! ICONS! QUOTES!!" Making those things (except SOME icons) require no skill! However, making good layouts and banners DO require skill! So I'm making this site for Banner makers and Layout makers exclusively! So Sign up!!
How it works ::
There will be two contests going on for banners, and two contests for layouts. I'll take five layouts/banners for each contest. Once I have all the contestants for one contest, I will judge them. I'll rate on a scale of 1 to 10, and placements go from the closest to ten, to the farthest from ten. Everybody will end up with something, so it's worth a try!
RULES ::
Nobody likes these, so I'll make it quick...

3. No mean comments, (except about people who think that making fades/quotes is something to be totally recognized for)

1. You get a special banner saying you got third

3. You go on the hall of fame for 3rd place winners

Honorable Mention -
1. You get a special banner saying you won Honorable Mention

How I Judge ::
The Perfect Banner -
1. Colors Match
2. Added pictures make it better.
3. A little bit of glitter
4. Medium sized
5. The words display a nice message
The Perfect Layout -
1. Colors go together.. or at least look cool if they clash.
2. It's not plain -- it has a nice banner and background.
3. The links don't change size on hover.
4. It's nice and clean -- sizes match.
5. Creative, original idea.

1. Was the layout Clean/Organized? Yep. All there is to say is yep. 2/2
2. Was the layout creative/original? Stripes aren't anything new, and there's just a word header. 0/2
3. Is it all around pleasurable to look at? yes, but i'd suggest a different shade of green. 1/2
4. Would somebody use it? yep! 2/2
5. Overall, is it a good layout? it's pretty good... 1/2

2. Was the layout creative/original? somewhat. the moving hello kitty at the top was nice, but otherwise it's just kind of... small, and small is way overused 1/2
3. Is it all around pleasurable to look at? well you really have to strain your eyes... so no. 0/2
4. Would somebody use it? maybe... 1/2
5. Overall, is it a good layout? its okay... 1/2

3. Is it all around pleasurable to look at? yellow's not my favorite color, but yep! 2/2
4. Would somebody use it? some would... a lot of people don't like custom modules. 1/2
