When I was about 7, I would plan the P.S.'s on my letters. While engraving my pencilled way firmly through paragraph one, before my compressed lips had become really white, I knew exactly what the clever little after-thought would be. I even went through a heightened phase of P.P.S, and P.P.P.S--- for all your after-thought needs.

This had completely left my memory, until it dropped neatly into one of the empty brain slots around 4:23 this afternoon.

it makes me think of that children's book The Jolly Postman (which, if you've never read it, is highly worth your time)-I think that's where I learned what "P.S." meant.

PS...I wish it stood for ProcraStinating....I'm not all that sure why, maybe becuase if it did it would give more credibility to the actual act of procrastination...how?....oh I don't know...don't get bogged down in details....
