hey! so its been 5 weeks in annapolis so far.  its so crazy, me living on my own! it's been BUSY since i've been here.  im really loving it so far.  although this week i can feel my body rebelling. especially since last weekend we were performing up in baltimore so we had 12 days without a day off.  here's my summer schedule:

Monday: 9-10:30 ballet technique; 10:30-11:30 pointe; 11:30-12:30 pilates; 12:30-1 lunch; 1-5 rehearsal                                          

Tuesday: 9-11 ballet technique; 11-12 variations; 12-1:30 jazz; 1:30-2 lunch; 2-5 rehearsal

Wednesday: 9-10:30 ballet technique; 10:30-11:30 pointe/variations; 11:30-12:30 pilates; 12:30-1 lunch; 1-5 rehearsal

Thursday: 9-11 ballet technique; 11-12 variations; 12-1:30 jazz; 1:30-2 lunch; 2-5 rehearsal

Friday: 9-10:30 ballet technique; 10:30-12 partnering; 12-1 tap; 1-1:30 lunch; 1:30-5 rehearsal

so yeah its been pretty hectic.  we have our summer intensive performance this coming saturday which should be pretty fun.  we're not 100% positive of everything we're performing but we do know that we're doing 2 group sections of paquita (which all of us apprentices are in); and we're going to be putting a bunch of variations in the middle of paquita but we don't know who's going to be dancing them yet.  we're doing the red section from a piece called "American Ballads"  and i'm dancing one of two demi soloists in that. :) we're also doing the blue section from "American Ballads" and a piece called "Hitcock Presents" but we're not positive about who's dancing those.  Then we're also doing a piece that one of my roommates, meagan, choreagraphed. i really like her piece, its so much fun.  there's one hat and basically everybody fights over it the whole time, but i'm the girl who's always obnoxious about getting the hat. and i'm the one who ends up with it in the end.  its super fun.

ok well i'm going to get going, i need to switch my laundry.  hopefully i'll be updating more often in here.  although i'm going home next weekend for 2 or 2 1/2 weeks so who knows how much computer i'll be doing there.  mostly i'll be swimming and sleeping i think. :) maybe with some babysitting thrown in to make some extra cash.

i'm moving tomorrow!!!!! so excited! all my stuff is in boxes and bags in the living room. and right now i'm on my new laptop. which is SWEET! i love it. we're trying to figure out a way for me to get all of my music onto here. because i have like almost 800 songs on my itunes but we can't think of how to get them on to my laptop. i was thinking cd... but thats gonna be like 40000 cds. but hey maybe i can get them onto cds. i got 100 blank ones w/ this computer. (we got the deal w/ computer, cds, case, printer, usb cables) but now andrew's saying no. it would take too long for me to get them all onto cds. hmmm. i'll figure something out. apparantly if we had a usb cable that could connect my laptop to the computer i would be able to do it but we don't have a cable like that. oh well. i'll figure it out. ANYWAY...

the beach was AWESOME!! we had so much fun. *2* weeks. it rocked. lots of swimming, ice cream, bike riding, cards... so much fun!! i loved it. i didn't want to come home. of course once i came home i knew i would get to move! last night we went to see the new adam sandler movie "click". and oh my goodness, it was very very good! you think oh yeah, adam sandler... funny stuff!! but not only was it funny, but i actually cried a few times!! (melissa did too and she doesn't cry as much as me... so it wasn't just me) it was really really good. so glad i went!

well i'd better get going, i think i'm going to give my uncle mitch a call and figure out how to get all of my songs onto my laptop. hopefully i'll figure it out. next time i post in here... i'll be in my new house!!

school- FINISHED

ballet- 3 weeks

beach- only 19 days!!

annapolis- 35 days!!

so i have been an extremely busy person lately.  paid the first months rent and security deposit on townhouse in annapolis. started packing. got my license. got a car. babysat like major whoa every day. danced like crrazzzyy. and somewhere in there i believe i got sick. but anyways. it is almost summer! yay! can't wait to wear my new pink and green striped bathing suit. not much really to say right now... haven't been doing vrey much beyond packing, babysitting, and ballet-ing. oh! so my car. we got it for *free* (yes... free!) from some friends of ours. its in GREAT condition. its a white 'dynasty' so it kinda looks like an old people car... but thats ok. 4 doors, huge trunk (we fit 5 kids in it last night... with the lid open of course). only problem... no cd/tape player at all. just radio. i'm trying to see if my parents will buy me... or help me buy a new stereo for it. kinda like the one in our green car. with radio/cd and a little plug where you can plug in an ipod. andrew says the one they got for the green car wasn't ridiculously priced or anything so i guess we'll see... i can't live without my music!! i would say i'd buy it with graduation money. but i think i'm going to try and buy a laptop with graduation money. i found some cheap ones online. well... i guess thats enough for now. analyn is coming to get me so we can find out prices on cakes for our super sick party and so we can wander aimlessly around the mall. which is always fun!

SO!! i got an apprentice contract with ballet theatre of maryland!! i am very excited! i haven't made my complete decision yet because i'm waiting to hear back from atlantic contemporary ballet theatre (a.k.a. atlantic city ballet). i'm like going crazy because i just want to start making LISTS (i'm like obsessed with making lists: packing lists, buying lists, to do lists...) i want to figure out what i need to get, what i need to take, WHERE I AM GOING TO LIVE. lol. so i really hope i hear back from acbt super soon so i can make some decisions. i find it very hard to believe that very soon i am going to be moving out of the house... very very hard to believe. aren't i still like 8 years old? hmmmm. can 8 year olds live on their own?  but i am definetly feeling ready to go. i love the academy and all the people there. but i am so ready to leave. it's been long enough. im ready to move on... do something else. new drama. lol.

so the past few weekends have been like amazing! 2 weekends ago: had my audition in egg harbor (for acbt) then went to charcoal pit/bowling with butler, yasik, melissa, shawn, gary, andrew, and tim. and that was SO fun!! then on sunday... wait, what did i do on sunday?? oh yeah... hahaha i laid out on the trampoline reading and listening to music because it was so gorgeous out. totally didnt think it through. got MAJOR sunburn on the backs of my legs and a strip of it on my lower back. yeah. that was fun. it was really relaxing laying out there though i had a very nice time until i went inside and realized how badly i had burned myself. now its just faded into a tan so its ok. then last weekend: slept over jac's on friday and watched a very hilarious movie and played some fun games and danced around and just generally had an awesome time. then we dragged ourselves to class on saturday morning and after wards i went to the mall with butler, yasik, and giovanna. we spent *6* hours there. yes, at concord mall. it was amazing. we didnt buy ANYTHING (well yasik did buy 2 shirts) but we tried on like bazillion things and had a total blast. afterwards we (minus giovanna and plus shawn and billy) went to see benchwarmers which was HILARIOUS!! then on sunday i actually hit the mall again with analyn. and we BOUGHT STUFF!! it was amazing!! hahahaha. and as of today i am on SPRING BREAK! (i still have ballet today and tomorrow though) NO BABYSITTING UNTIL TUESDAY!! so i'm off to the mall (again) with yasik in a couple minutes. (because we actually wanna buy some of the stuff we saw on saturday... lol!) so i'd better go.  ITS SPRING!!

fun fun fun fun fun weekend. after teaching and taking classes on saturday, i came home and just relaxed for a while. then shawn came over and after dinner andrew, shawn, and i met analyn and like 5023049384 boys at the movies. we saw v for vendetta. it was good. i really liked it but some parts were most def. disturbing. natalie had such great hair... so then analyn slept over and she and her mom came with me and my mom to my audition down in annapolis today... where we met leah. the audition went really well. it was about 3 hours i think. we did class work and some rep. i really liked it. i won't hear for a couple weeks though so keep your fingers crossed for me!  afterwards we all went out to lunch/dinner and then hung out at leah's apartment for a while before driving home. so analyn and i are going to have graduation together... we have some plans. maybe all of them won't go through... but a lot of them WILL and it will be awesome!
