| We're outa here!Yup, we're moving - trading the sunny beaches of California for the snowy winters of Illinois.I know it sounds like we've gone crazy but this is where the LORD wants us. We know this because we have been able to sell a house in 4 months whereas others have been waiting a year or more.
We are planning to leave for our trip on Nov. 28 (My birthday!) and plan (LORD willing) to be at our new house by Dec. 5. We will be 30 minutes from ATI Headquarters, and 30 minutes from Chicago.
This was supposed to be a different post, but we are going to be so busy these following weeks that I don't have time for a longer one. I hope to start posting longer updates once we move, especially since Dad might put a computer in my room. Yay!
My family would appreciate your prayers, it is no small feat to move a family of 12 across country. However I know the LORD is in control and will never give us something we can't handle if we trust in His strength.
God bless,
~Ruth

| My LOOOONG over-due updatePlease forgive me y'all, there was no excuse for waiting this long . . . from now on I will keep this regularly updated, I promise.
My time at EXCEL 28:
Oy, it's been so long, it now seems like years since I went there, and there is so much I'd like to say I'm not even going to begin. I will say it was one of the best experiences of my life and I would encourage ANY young lady to go.
Here are a few pics from EXCEL taken by my friend and room-mate Teresa:
My team with our sewing instructor:

My team on dress-up/fancy dinner night, team-mate Alicia managed to get ALL of my hair on top of my head. No small feat! Thanks!
My lovely team leader Rebecca Furlong:
My friend Teresa and me.
Me messing around with frosting. Yum!
See the name badge? We all had to wear those when ever we were out of our rooms (So speakers could remember our name), and if we forgot we got a *dramatic music* PROJECT. Lol, no they weren't that bad. :-p
We had lots of awesome speakers and other fun stuff, but I don't want to overload you with pictures, feel free to ask questions, request picture and/or yell at me for procrastinating.
God bless,
~Ruth | | |

Some random LotR humor . . . [Pictures removed because they take too long to load]
But I saved the best for last . . . go here for a Les Miserables song set to LotR words. Instead of "One Day More" it's "Pelennor". LOL LOL LOL!

| I'm Back! It's good to be home . . . . God has been so good to me, much more than I deserve. He found ways to give me all kinds of little blessings that were so sweet. Like, finding good quality cassettes of some great musicals including highlights from both The Phantom of the Opera (OLC) and Les Miserables (CSR)! I've been looking forward to listening to the original cast of The Phantom for awhile, but it was always to expensive, now I find all the best songs from it for only 99 cents!
Simple things like that really make you appreciate His attention to little things.
God bless y'all!
