| Why, after everything, am I still sad?
I continually play lifesaver. . . . .

I've drown. |

| Schools back for summer....
Hey, So my first and second day of school have all come and passed. Group Communication seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. A guy I had a little crush on last semester is in it and it seems the feelings of high school butterflies are shared, Don't get me wrong I love Kyle, but its nice to get the butterflies every now and then. Econ 101 was today and it seems a lot like my senior class at El Camino but the teacher is much more laid back. Another surfer/stoner teacher! :) I miss Mr. Rector, that guy was awesome. I threw my back out a few days ago and then worked a shift. I think I really hurt it bad because it's been more than four/five days without relief. I can sometimes hardly walk and when I sit down for too long the pain of the pinched nerves shoot into my feet and my lower back tingles and goes numb. Doesn't sound too good. I'm not scheduled to work again until Friday and I just hope this eases up, I need to work!! I feel bad too because I was complaining for so long about my not getting hours and now I keep calling in sick :/ I bought some new clothes for school and now I feel really broke and really dumb. I need money for gas, a chiropractor visit, and, to pay off my computer/software/printer. I love my office so much and the tutorials included are awesome. Maybe I can finally start making my own stuff again and working with illustrator to work on logos. I've had this dream to start my own magazine for young adults and I think I might be able to work on some comps this year...Yay for art classes! I'm taking the History of Photographic Image and InDesign classes so I think my knowledge and love for Visual Communications is going to thrive. I love the art world and I can't wait to embark on this new field. Let's hope I can walk tomorrow :)
Take care all, and be nice to your backs! <3, Jess |

| I got myself a mini! :) So I finally saved up for my mac mini and I'm loving it. Not only am I happy to have my own computer again but I'm enjoying the world of mac. So things are full steam ahead for college. I picked up my parking permit and school books today, the final bit before school starts on monday. I can't believe summer is over already but I guess that's how it always goes. I am looking forward to being back in the normal flow though. Anyway, the eating plan is kinda working out (its hard when friends come down and you go out to eat a lot) but all I have to figure in is the workout schedule. Then I think I'll start to see more results. I just have to cure myself of the ColdStone obsession. You would think working there would help to curb cravings but to the contrary it's only made them stronger.
Take care all, have fun with whatever you do, Jess |
