| O.K. so it's been a while! Sad that not much has changed. Still stressed at my job as a PICU nurse. now I am some charge nurse where everybody expects me to know everything and well, you guessed it.... i don't. Too many decisions in an day. I am about to be in two weddings, and it is BREAKING ME! AHHHHH! My husband and I have become a one car family and rid ourselves of the 1995 Oldsmoblie Cutlass Cierra for a grand total of $550 smackers!!!! Whooo! It was sad to let her go (sarcasm inserted here) Anyways, thought i would say hi. Today is my hubby's b-day so i have to go figure something out to do. We are flying to Albuquerque, N.M. to visit friends in December then driving to go skiing in Durango then driving to the Grand Canyon to hike to the bottom and camp out. The flight is paid for and the campground reservation is made so that settles it. No backing out now. My friend Myra is going to hike 19 miles in 40 degree weather being 5 months pregnant..... we'll see. Say a Prayer... Love you all. God Bless! | | |
| HEY! It's been a while! I am spending time in minden today at my aunts laying out. My pregnangt sister is with me... ha ha ha! I still cannot believe I am going to be an aunt. Andre wants to be called uncle dewey... he's so funny! Not much new here. We are just spending time together before andre starts school...18 hours. My crappy olds broke down. Pray that it stays broken and we get a new car. :) Anyways, hope everyone has a great weekend... Love ya!! | | |
| HEY! I haven't written in forever. I never get on the computer. Not much has changed. Just working alot and getting a little better at being a nurse but still want to go back to school to teach in the next couple of years. I love school. I think I could stay in it forever. It is one of the only things i am good at. It makes me feel good to make good grades. Now I just get griped out by doctors and try to withstand highly stressful situations that are not worth the crappy amount of money they pay me. Anyways, on a positive note, Andre is in school to be a history teacher. Wierd... I hate history and geography. I am so proud of him though.
Also, We recently changed churches which was huge for us considering how attached we have been in the past but it has been a long time coming and it could not have been more perfect timing. God is so good!! It is very different and I will definitely miss my pastor but at the same time I am so excited. It is exactly what we needed. You know it is a God thing when you all of the sudden become so challenged. I am getting closer to God that I have been in a LONG time. I am just thankful that he is a forgiving God... considering how long and how often I fail Him. I hope everyone is doing good and having a great summer even though it is sooo freakin hot!!! | HAPPY WEDNESDAY! Mercy Me concert is today and I am excited! I have not been to work in 6 days, and it has been wonderful. I could enjoy this life... too bad it will never happen. I go back to tomorrow.  Anyways, I had so much fun keeping my aunt's foster baby. Let's just say Andre has changed his mind about wanting kids right now. Mission Accomplished!!! Poor little baby woke me up screaming at 3:45 a.m. because he was stuck between the mattress and the wall. I couldn't even see him when I walked into the room. (Scary!) I had the mattress on the floor and I thought he would be o.k. if I just put pillows on the side of him. Unfortunately he scooted his little booty up instead of to the side. He was o.k. thank God! I also had a great time in Dallas. Spent a little too much. Ate organic the whole time almost. A little strange but tasteful!!
CINCO DE MAYO isn't very far if you know what that means. Yes the celebration of the dead in mexico but in america it means my birthday. 25th birthday to be exact......AHHHHH I cannot believe I am getting so old. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be working. Love ya | | |
| So it has been a while since I have written. But sadly there hasn't been much going on. This weekend I am going to Dallas to see my friends Ashley Elizabeth Dougherty Howland and Abby Dowd Vallery Scheutzer. I am so excited. I will definitley be going to Urban Outfitters... only the best store in the world. And eating at my favorite restaurant. The Cheesecake Factory. Not even in the same category as that Cheesecake Bistro crap. Anyways, I hope it is fun. Andre can't come because of his stupid paper route. BLAH! Then... on my way home I will be stopping in Minden to pick up my aunt's foster child. He is only 7 months. I am so excited. He is so precious. He will be staying a day or two because my uncle is having surgery. This outta give Andre a little taste of having kids... since he is already begging me to have them. I keep saying no. We will see how he feels after this weekend. Then on Wednesday the Mercy Me concert. I hope everyone is going. I think that about covers it. Hope you all have a great weekend!!! One more thing.... know any place I could move to where I won't have any allergies?? I am thinking that will be a big influence on where I decide to live.
