In hopes of shedding a few pounds (particularly before spending New Years Eve in Cancun), Andrew had the bright idea to start the Fat Smash diet.  No, he didn't make it up - it's the diet written by Dr Ian Smith, of Celebrity Fit Club fame.

The first nine days are hell.  It's the "detox" period.  We can only eat fruits and veggies, brown rice, yogurt, and drink water or herbal tea.  It's only our second day...I'm so hungry (even though the diet has us eat 5 times a day), and I have a caffeine-withdrawal headache.  Couple those with the fact that I started working out in the mornings again - so I'm tired and sore, too.

Needless to say, I'm hating this diet a little right now.  We get to weigh again on the morning of the 10th day - so hopefully I'll change my mind by then.  WIsh us luck!

On Saturday, after hanging a bit with Livvy and Alex at the cigar shop, Andrew and I met up with a couple of the teachers from school.  Kelly's Cove freaking sucked (no band, no music whatsoever, no fun) so we ended up at the sports bar near our house.

A DJ was there, so us girls danced while the husbands hid in the booths.  And we ended up running into the president of our school's PTA - LOL - and dancing to such classics as "Pu**y Control" and "Crazy B*tch".  Awesomeness!

And, I'm already getting excited about Halloween - pretty sure Andrew and I will be Eddie and Columbia from Rocky Horror.

Last night was fun.

Andrew and I rode the motorbike up to the cigar shop to watch the Texas game (which ended sadly).  Livvy, Amanda and Alex met us there after they went to Modern Image to get their belly buttons done (the girls, not Alex).

After the game was over, Andrew and Alex wanted to get tattoos at Liberty Electric.  If you've never been, those guys are awesome!  Alex got a really cool knight:

Andrew got a longhorn:

I feel a little left out!  I'll have to go back and get my little Texas soon!

Two of those are brand new songs.  Livvy and I wore purple tie-died

Then Saturday, we picked up Alex and went to the concert in Dallas theSmirnoff.  We had lawn seats, so we got there super early to get a nicespot.  We drank a lot of watermelon juice and enjoyed these songs:

There was 1 new one there, and The Song That Jane Likes is reallyrare for him to play.  It was so much fun!

I would've posted before, but I have been feeling sickly all week.

And ending on a different note, Little Miss Sunshine is my new favemovie!
