I can't believe it's July already, I actually wrote 2004 the other day... time is flying by faster and faster!

Well, I just got back from my first trip home to Missouri since my move last summer.  I feel SO blessed to have friendships that I can depend on.  Despite the amount of time that has passed since the last time I saw them, people showed me that I was still a priority... it really made me feel good to know that I hadn't been forgotten.

After my stint in Missouri, I flew to Tahoe California where I spent a few days with the Anderson family. I'm sure a few of you will find this a little curious, but you can just stop it.  I had a wonderful time, we'll just leave it at that.

Any way, I'm back home now and am ready to start venturing out a little more.. I'm not getting any younger!

Happy post Easter everyone!  I attended my first sunrise church service at the beach this year, it was totally wonderful, doves were released at the end of service and then people got baptized in the ocean.

I got a SWEET vintage dresser from a thrift store last week, it needs new handles and the drawers need a little attention, but it's soooo cute.  The most recent big event in my life was the addition of a bed to my room last sunday, after sleeping on the floor for two months just the sight of it brings tears of joy to my eyes =)

I'll go a head and announce my return to Missouri after what will be a ten month absence, I'm flying into Kansas City on June 27th and then driving down to Springfield for a few days to be in a friends wedding, going back to Kansas City on July 2nd, and then flying back to California on the 4th.  I know it's a short trip, but I would really like to see as many of you as possible while I'm in town.  Give me a call sometime and we can set something up =)

It's now 11:45am (1:45pm Missouri time) and my lunch break is coming to a close, but I love you all and look forward to seeing you soon!

I finally have a place to call me own!  I've been floating around since September 2nd, and couldn't be any more ready to stay put somewhere.

I don't have any furniture yet, but I will hopefully be getting my bed this week... I'm getting way to old to sleep on the floor, I haven't hardly been able to move around the last couple of days b/c I've been so stiff.

The apartment is so darling though, I can't wait for you all to come visit and then move out here... it's all been kind of like a dream so far, California is the promised land =)
