| - Scotty Doesn't Know!Um, I should update, I suppose.
Life's going very well, I must say. Although Commerce is still pretty boring, I'm making it through alright with friends finally living here and frequent visits home. I went to Cancun a couple weeks ago, and it was the best trip I've ever been on! Mom, Loyce, and I had a blast, and none of us were ready to come home! We decided it would have been perfect to just fly a few key people out there and stay for months! I'll have pictures up on facebook eventually, but I accidently left my CD of pictures at my house!
The middle school band camp was actually a lot of fun! The kids were great, and we all had a pretty good time playing Muntchkin and reading! I actually have some pictures on facebook from that week including mullet boy and the room raids! Good times.
Well, Steven and I broke up about a month ago. The distance thing wasn't working out and the like. Anyway, it was very mutual, and we still talk every now and then, so that's good. I'd never had a "good" breakup before, so it was pretty nice not to have a psycho ex! Um, there is a new guy in the picture named Nathan. He's pretty much exactly the kind of guy I've been looking for, and things are going really great with us right now. Unfortunately, he's teaching a drumline camp during the week, so I just get to see him on weekends, but it's all good.
As for the rest of my life, there's nothing terribly exciting going on! I've just been teaching yoga at the rec center. And I taught the abs/back class for the first time by myself today, so that was pretty cool. I've actually been enjoying going to the classes at the rec center! It's a really good workout! So, I've pretty much been doing that and hanging out with Andrew, Danny when he's in town, and Sean when he decides to grace us with his presence! 
Well, that's all for now. I need to get some sleep cause I'm definitely teaching yoga at 8 in the morning! I'm not going to lie, it'll probably be another month before I update again! But, hey, at least that means I have things to say when I actually do decide to update! I hope everyone's having a wonderful summer!

| My brother finally got engaged!!!!  He popped the question at the
Dallas World Aquarium two weeks ago, but I haven't gotten a chance to
update since then. It was a fantabulously terrific day, and I get to be
a bridesmaid! The ring is gorgeous, Loyce has already ordered her
dress, found a location, and set a date! October 21 at the DAC. I
absolutely cannot wait.
So, I'm definiately glad that May Mini is over! I got a B in the
course, which I was happy about. It really wasn't bad, but no one was
in Commerce, so I was bored out of my mind. Fortunately, I have a ton
of friends that are here for summer 1 courses, meaning I won't have to
be bored all the time. Yea!
This past week, I worked a high school leadership/drum major band camp
at my school as a counselor. It was exhausting, but overall fun! I got
to know the other awesome counselors pretty well, got 3 free meals a
day, and didn't really have to do much. I will be working another band
camp for middle school the last week in June, and I've been told that
it will be hard work trying to keep their hormones in check. Joy.
I'm taking Integrated Science in summer 1, which sucks because it's
incredibly easy and a waste of time. The good news is I won't have to
study for it! And there are quite a few awesome people in there who
make it bearable. Unfortunately, there are also stupid people in there
who won't let us get the teacher off on a tangent. Oh well!
Steven's working in Oklahoma this summer, so that sucks pretty bad. He
was supposed to come home this weekend, but his parents didn't want him
wasting the gas. So, by the time I get to see him again (cross my
fingers that I'll actually get to), it will have been three weeks since
I last saw him. Sucks, but there's nothing I can do. The good news is,
the reason I won't be able to see him next weekend is because I'm going
to see my grandparents in the valley! :) That'll be fun.
I guess that's really all for now. Life's going pretty well, for the most part, and I hope it continues in this same fashion. :)

| Alright, alright, fine, a real entry. I'm out of class 45 minutes early
and do not feel like being productive, so I shall tell you about my
life.
So, my roommate, Amy, got a snake, which would explain the first part
of my last entry. His name is Bruno, and he is the best ever. Everyone
loves him, and he makes them all want snakes as pets. Oh man, Amy,
Steven, and I watched him eat a mouse the other day, and it was the
coolest thing ever! If you've never watched a snake feed before, you
should! :) To sum up, Bruno is the best pet ever. Oh, and we're not
actually allowed to have him in the apartment, so shhhh!
On to other things, I have a boyfriend now, which would explain another
part of my last entry. His name is Steven, and he goes to school out
here, and he's really really cool. :) We compliment each other well,
that's for sure. And he gets mad at me if I open doors for myself! It's
the cutest thing ever! The other night, he ran around the car so I
wouldn't open the door. Erin met him, and she approves, so all is
right in the world... or something like that. Anyway, he is great. I
shall have more, cuter pictures of him on facebook soon. He's the best.
Things with Mu Phi are going pretty well! I'm enjoying the pledge
period, but it is contributing a great deal to my incredibly hectic
month of April! I can't believe it's already April! But, yes, Mu Phi is
fun, and the people in it are great!
To quickly sum up spring break, it was just as incredible as it always
is. I didn't want to leave, but I was definitely missing my friends
here at The Keep (they named their apartment), which brings me to
another point! I have some new friends that live in my apartment
complex, and those guys are the best ever! Technically, only four guys
live there (Steven's one of them), but Daniel crashes there during a
good portion of the week because he's commuting from Rowlett. So, yeah,
they are so much fun, and every single one of them loves music, so
they're constantly listening to music and singing along! They also like
to play cards, so the other day, we were sitting around, playing cards,
listening to Great Big Sea (folk singers from Newfoundland... sounds
weird, but they're great!), and they were all singing along! I was in
heaven! :) I know, I'm a loser!
