It's been a while...

Hi folks,

I can only apologise for not blogging for such a long time. This is partly due to the fact I have no net access at home these days, and I'm not supposed to go on stuff like this on the work computers, and partly because I have now become a bit addicted to Facebook.

But as you see I am still alive, and am going to try and make more of an effort to update you all on my adventures. Though you all know how lazy I am, so I won't make any promises!

Love to all xxx

Hello my lovely people

There is much to discuss.

1. The World Cup.

FINALLY. Eriksson is gone. WHY did you take Walcott? Why? Why not Defoe, or Wright-Phillips? Grrrrr. As soon as it went to penalties, I knew we were going to lose.

After that I was supporting Germany (yes, I'm English, but my nana is German so I have a right I suppose), but then they got knocked out which was irritating, as I can't stand France, Italy, or Portugal. They are so arrogant! In the final I decided after much deliberation, that I wanted France to win as I thought they deserved it more, that it, right until that incident with Zidane.

I am really losing all faith in football. It's not the beautiful game anymore. It is full of overpaid nancies who cheat and dive and deliberately try to get other players sent off. And half the referees were crap and biased against England.

2. Nottingham Rally

It was good. We spent Saturday afternoon drinking beer and watching the England = Portugal game. The Scots were a nightmare after we lost.

The theme was Robin Hood Men In Tights vs Pirates of the Caribbean (I didn't get it either). We decided to do a Welsh fancy dress (well, Cardiff, us and Swansea). If you have seen Men In Tights, you will know there is a running joke about Maid Marion's chastity belt - so we decided to go as different Maid Marions, wearing corsets, stockings and suspenders and chastity belts. I went all Christmassy and was Maid "in Santa's workshop" Marion.

Photos when my laptop works.

I have to say, considering I had no pants on, I was oddly comfortable.

3. Work

Back at GreenWood and for the most part enjoying it, though have been stuck in the cafe for the last couple of weeks. Now doing 9-5.30 6 days a week which is starting to take it out of me but I need the cash. I'm really starting to miss the boys from outside though, hardly ever see them in the kitchen. I love them to bits, and am going to miss them terribly when I leave. Have had some interesting nights out with them, the first one being the one where Huw, Dewi, Llion, Mark and Iwan (even though I had just met him) crashed at my house as they all live Caernarfon/Bethel way. Huw demanded I put a Monty Python DVD on then promptly fell asleep on the sofa (in his boxers), following which Llion got hold of my camera and took a picture down the sleeping Huw's shorts (I deleted that without looking at it!) Then Llion was sliding down the stairs in his sleeping bag. We went to bed around 4am, and then I got up at 7 to get in the shower in case any of them wanted it, then made the boys breakfast and Mark drove us all to work (Iwan and Llion weren't actually working which was lucky as the rest of us spent the day feeling ROUGH).

At the moment they are all calling me Duncan - he is ginger and from Sunderland. He came in the caf the other day to get his lunch and Simon who saw him going in called me Duncan without looking to see who it was. Mark does not seem to realise this joke has a shelf life which has pretty much expired.

I can't remember what else I was going to say! Apart from the gossip, which will go in a protected post. I'll have a think anyway.

Oh and by the way, I went to Wakestock this weekend. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo indescribably awesome.

Please god put one of those sexy wakeboarders in my Santa sack this Christmas.

Today I graduated. It was the hottest day of the year so far, according to the news. Sure, all those people sat on the beach in the swimsuits are positively sweltering, yeah YOU try dealing with 30+ C in a bloody cap and gown. Taking into consideration that Western Society is meant to be more advanced, WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IS THERE NO AIR CONDITIONING???!!!! ANYWHERE!!!!!!

So anyway, it was a nice ceremony, my parents and siblings, and my grandparents and my Aunty Kerry came, and we all went for a Chinese meal for lunch. It feels weird though, knowing that's the end.

Got a 2.1 by the way. Chuffed to bits with that. For those not used to our grading system, that's an upper second class honours, means I got somewhere between 60-69, and I'm guessing it was the lower end of that scale but frankly I don't care.

So, I do have some major gossip regarding a certain male who I was interested in but have rather gone off. I still owe you guys a massive blog, I have lots to talk about. I imagine you are quite surprised that I didn't blog about the world cup, being a very patriotic England football fan. The problem is you see, my laptop is broken again, and so I will write a blog in my head then not come to the PC room to type it all out.

There is a big one coming.

Not now however, as I am going to Sammy's house for some post graduation vino.

Big love to the masses xxx
