Wow...it's been a while. Looks like all of you guys have been doing well. I have been ok. The Army has a...unique way of treating us.  Anyways, just one more month till i can come home! I've been in this stupid state too long.  Those of you who travel, don't come to Oaklahoma.  Anyways, i graduated basic training and advanced individual training, and am now part of this great war machine.  I can only pray that God lets me come home to my loved ones...and to live long enough to be the man i need to be.  I head to iraq in september for a year, so i need to hang out with as many of you as possible.  leave your addresses and numbers and i'll write and call when i get a chance.

IN THE ARMY NOW!!!

Hey Ya'll!  Wow, I don't know if I'll ever get used to that...guess it's cause I've been down in this stupid state too long.  Those of you who don't know, I'm in the state of Oklahoma right now. Why? Cause I'm in the Army!  I've been here since January 24th...long time! I graduated basic training on April 7th and am now in Advanced Individual Training until May 26th.  Then I head to Fort Bragg for Airborne School and then Air Assault School for 6 weeks.  I will be home around the end of June, so those of you who want to hang out come and see me.  I have a few people I need to thank.  My family for being there for me through all this.  Mom, I know this wasn't easy on you, but remember I love you and am doing this for you and the family.  Tara...I miss you so much that it's makin me crazy.  Being in the Army has made me see a lot of things, and I guess that i reaped what i sewed with you, and now your with a Marine (big mistake, marines are losers) and not me.  The song by Garth Brooks called Tears is what I think of when I think of you. In it he says..."And I still don't know why things happened like they did, but I parked that old pick-up on that lonesome river bridge.  I pulled your ring from my pocket and I held it one last time.  I watched that diamond sparkle, I drew back and i let her fly.  And that old ring went under, and now it's gone for sure, and I don't have to wonder anymore."  I wish you the best I guess, and if something changes, let me know...I hope your happy though.  Christine...HA! Spelled your name right.  I can't explain how I feel about ya...you've always been there, and you still are! I don't know if you know this, but I do love you...and I'd take a bullet for you...literally.  Being in this environment has made me realize that I can't be afraid to tell people things, cause I may not make it home.  I hope that doesn't scare you, but I want you to know the truth.  I want to be with you so bad that I can't describe it.  Please call me so we can talk!  And thank you for everything...I mean that.  I also want you to know that if for some reason I were to die defending this country, I made sure that the Army sends you a folded flag in rememberance of me.  I also am sending you a picture and my dog tags! call me soon! 1 580-483-1271. love ya!
