It has been brought to my attention that I must spend way to much time on Facebook. I'm sure that is the cause of most of my lack of updating. As strange as it sounds nothing and everything has happened since Oct.8, my last xanga post. Man October seems like so long ago. Joey and Jonathan both had birthdays in Oct. I had one in November, Ashley Dye was in Dec. and Lisa turned 20 in January. Im now a senior at Harding with at least a year and a half left to go. Oh well that means at least 1 and a half more basketball seasons I'll be here for. Love that Bison Basketball. Its been crazy, seems like this season just started and it's already almost over. Kim, Lisa, Amy, and I have had some great fun recently going to some awesome away games. We have such fun times together. It makes me sad to realize that in a few short months Kim and Rachel will be graduating and I probably wont see them much. Along with Shaner, Danielle and Jessi (who graduated this past December), all my friends are leaving me. I am happy, though it may not sound like it, that they are growing into responsible, well adjusted adults and that they are ready to take on the world. I know each of them has more potential than I can fathom. It doesnt mean I wont miss them terribly. Sometimes I sit back and think about how all of our lives have changed so much in the last few years: beth and noah graduated, moved to texas, had a baby, then moved to KY. my uncle jamie moved to OH, got married and is working in Toledo. Tim is now married, Jessi might as well be , and so much more has happened that I just cant wrap my mind around. God is so good to me and the people I love.

WELCOME TO OCTOBER!! Ok so it's a few days late but really, who even reads this anymore so its not that big of a deal. Things have been going alright lately. Im really ready for a break that is next weekend. Lisa, Micah, Amy and I are driving home for Uncle Jamie's Wedding. I cant believe its next weekend already. Wow!

So last night Tim, Tony, Kim, Leah and I went out to Little Rock to see The Departed. Good movie, real bloody and kinda strange but good movie nonetheless. I have to say the ending surprised me. Some things happened that I totally didnt expect to happen which really was cool because I thought I had the whole movie figured out. And surprise I SO didnt.

Its 5:30pm on a Sunday and I havent eaten dinner mainly cause i just woke up from a glorious nap. Now its a matter of finding my sister and deciding what time we're going to the caf. Man I cant wait to get home for some food that isnt from the caf!!!

So I know its Wednesday but this past weekend was SOOO much fun!! I just havent had a chance to sit down and update this thing in awhile. Friday night a group of friends and I went out to the White Country Fair and watched the rodeo. All of Arkansas's finest were there (aka hillbillies and rednecks). It was alittle boring at first but when they started the bull riding part of the rodoe it was so fun to watch. After that was over we just walked around the fair for a little while then decided to go back to campus and play catch phrase in the Student Center. Saturday morning rolls around and even after not falling asleep til 3am that morning i woke myself up at 9 oclock to go to Heber Springs. Also tons of fun....though I did get sun burned pretty bad. My own fault I guess for improper application of sunscreen. Plus now I have a cold sore cause my lips got burned to....how wonderful those are. Anyways, that night we went out to the intramural fields to play kickball which turned into football...neither of which lasted long til we ended up at Dairy Queen. Once we got that over with Me, Kim, Amy, Jessi and Tony went over to Berryhill Park and listened to Tony play the guitar and play on the playground ( around 11:30 pm). Sunday morning was nice, Jillian was in town from  Oklahoma Christian and we got to see her at church. Lunch in the caf and I accomplished absolutley nothing  homework wise. Cleaned for open house which i actually spent over at Lisa's where the party was. And by party I mean cookies, ice cream and The Ringer. The real fun came Sunday night when after open house we all got together again and went out to play in the most disgusting water/mud I've ever seen. I cant remember having that much fun all in one weekend. This weekend should be fun too..planin a lil trip up to KY with Kim and some good friends. We'll see what happens!

So I had a meeting with my new advisor today and found out some good news and some not so good news. The good news is that I'll be here another two years, the bad news...I'll be here another two years. Its good cause I know I'm not ready to graduate and enter the real adult world. Its bad cause that means alot more student loans. However, my advisor said there are so many job openings for Family and Consumer Sciences teachers that I could pretty much get a job anywhere. And (I like this and) she also said that there are programs where you can teach for a few years in a low income area school and your student loans could be mostly waved. Which I was excited about. Money always stresses me out so that option was a relief.

On a different note, the semester is turning out well so far. My grades are coming up and Im glad about that. Im also doing alot better about not skipping class so much. I keep telling Shaner this is a semester of change for me. Which is sort of a new thing cause usually I stay as far away from change as humanly possible, but this is good change: more responsible.

Well, its time for me to close. I gotta get up early for work tomorrow. Those crazy kids make me so tired sometimes.

It's been along while since I have updated. May something to be exact...well I guess thats not entirely exact but you know what I mean. Well, not alot happened over the summer. It was good but long. We went to Florida for a week and saw Chris and met a new Travis friend. That was fun. I'm back at school now with a new group of current M-ville HU students. Micah, Amy, Devin and Justin are all here now and its been great fun spending time with them and sharing HU experiences with them too.

Me and My Loo-Ann with the company of Amy, and Amy 2 met Tyler Hilton after he did a show there the first Friday we were back at school. I tell you what, thats a way to start a great semester. We are in the works of trying to go see him again....but no such luck so far. If only my Uncle Jamie's wedding was the weekend after the weekend it really is that would be great for me. I could go to the wedding on Saturday and then Tyler is playing in Cleveland on Sunday. But as it turns out the wedding is the weekend before. Not that that is going to stop me from still trying to go. Some may present a great point about how far it is to go home two weekends in a row, not to mention how expensive it would be. Trust my I've thought about all this and yet I still havent ruled out the possibility.

Well, Im off to start a new routine, called working out. Im really just going to see what the fuss is all about. I've heard its good for you....I guess we'll find out. k bye for now
