| i've had this xanga for since may 25th, 2003. thats right, around the time i graduated middle school. i don't think i could have survived high school without some type of diary. as that chapter of my life has closed i feel that it is time to close this xanga. my xanga has been a source of envy, controversy, happy memories, and bonding for other people. of course i couldn't quit this!! i'm just moving on: to bigger & better things. or a bigger & better new xanga, rather. goodbye shimmerdust&aragon. hello new xanga&UCberkeley.

| i only kept one grudge from high school because deep in my heart i knew that the person keyed my car. of course there was never any proof (and jumping to conclusions is rude). anyway, the jealousy that the person holds for me (that caused him to key my car) gave me somewhat of an ego boost.
it all added up anyways. because i am pretty much adored by most, and he was the one who i saw nearby the place of the incident. also, a friend heard him speak about it (generally, without my name) and even confirmed the DATE of the incident without my telling the friend.
i won't post this persons name online because it just is NOT classy. if the person weren't the scum of the earth i would ask for reimbursement. (obviously there is no possibility of such a scummy person reimbursing me for their own stupidity because they are too scummy to realize their lapse in judgement.)
however, i would never retaliate against this person. i'm way classier than that. although i've had SO many offers in help for retaliation, i would just never do such a thing. honestly, if i saw him bleeding in a ditch, i would definitely call 911. swear. because i'm just a very good person.
-- its just truly great to be so loved, be going to the #1 public university in the nation, and to live a beautiful life. i'm so thankful for my wonderful life. |

| today annie and i were supposed to have lunch. but instead i was instructed to go inside of spiedo (where i had my seventeenth birthday celebration) and turn right. there, i saw my friend melanie and two shiny nordy's gift boxes :). YAY surprise birthday luncheon. hahahah. it was too sweet. and then as i thought "the service is so slow.. where is my dessert menu?!" a beautiful vanilla butterlemon iced chocolate came out with purple icing and purple candles! (purple is my favorite color!) it was fabulous. :) thank you so much to the two people that made it happen. my friends are so nice. :) also, i forgot to thank everyone for the birthday calls & facebook comments. so thanks!!! today i bought a book at hallmark called "did i ever tell you..." a journal about your life lessons. i am going to fill it out and then buy another one at age 35 and fill it out again. then i'll compare answers. :) it'll be fun examining my maturity. |

| i'm legal!!!! i just spent 6 days in las vegas, NEVADA with two dear friends: annie chen & melanie wong. i turned 18 on the las vegas boulevard in front of the mirage hotel. i stayed at the venetian hotel in the exclusive venezia tower. our pools were fabulous. the in-suite dining was exquisite. walking up and down the strip was AMAZING. and spending my birthday there was great. i got a left-ear lower cartilage piercing as a newly legal citizen. i ate at good restaurants, visited pretty hotels, saw portions of nice shows, and shopped. i plan to become politically informed so that i can make good decisions as i vote in 2008. i'm looking forward to the rest of my lifeeee. :) |
