The End

Well....how do you say goodbye?!? umm- "Goodbye!"

The time has come....well it came about 2 weeks ago we have just been slacking on a new post...we have separated. The new Order Entry Ladies have started to pile into the office and the old ones out!

We all had a great time together and enjoyed becoming friends. Shimmy_shakers is definitely one of a kind! Sooo thanks to everyone for subscribing and possibly reading our posts- some interesting and some not so interesting. We enjoyed using our creative gene to come up with "Gopher Stories." The Gophers will surely miss their grand appearances on the Internet. All that to say....we have new individual sites!!!!

So here goes:

HUGE NEWS!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Julie Cook will be having a baby Girl, Elaina Marie!!!  ("Ellie" for short)

Only 3 more full working days till the end of the Shimmy_shakers...new xanga sites to come.

It is the end of April already?!? Crazy how fast time flies....

Only a month left before the shimmy_shakers official separation...Yes, it is true-we are going to part our ways ( from the office .) It began with Andrea and will continue down the line in our own timing. But we need some ideas for names for our very own personal xanga sites ( minus Megan, she jumped ahead) so we can still keep tabs!

Do you have any?? If not that is cool..we can be creative on our own!

The girlie side of us!

SO after months of planning, searching, thinking, double thinking, re-planning and scanning the web for ideas or even purchases...we finally did it!! We bought our "friendly, happy environment" decorations for our office!! YEAH! Hats off to the shimmy_shakers!

So here are some pictures of our wonderful office decor! We thank all those who came in and took notice of the additions in the office and even complimented us on how nice it looks!

 We carefully planned out our every move- making sure to have everything evenly spaced out. Our success goes to Julie!!

  And then they were up!! Yeah for flowers! (so many have told us- the lights don't go- but we like them!)

 Next came the recycled calendar pieces into a nice black frame...with some flowers and greenery! There are verses on those, you just can't see them!

 And our other piece of greenery- we found them at Michael's- 50% off!

 And lastly the black shelf---to finish off the wall...It all looks so wonderful!! No more white walls to stare at and think about!

Because of all the movement in the office the Gopher family including Hoops N Yo yo got a new home... They now grace us with their presence on top of the filing cabinets. Enjoying the sunshine behind them!

Well- what do yah think?? Better than white walls right?! So we just wanted to share our new office to everyone. Hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend! Enjoy the sunshine and remembering the Risen Savior we serve!

Takin' Off...

Hoops and Yo Yo were just minding there own business..."la, la, la"....and then they saw it!!!

It was was beautiful. It caught their eyes like nothing else.It was a RED CONVERTIBLE!! 

They quickly hopped off their shelf to explore this new, beautiful car. "AHHHH, this is great!" they say to each other!   "Now lets look inside..." And without hesitation Hoops jumps on the hood... " Ha Ha Ha"...he laughs as his buddy his smashed inside. Hoops quickly forgives Yo yo for the prank he pulled...(because forgiveness is always good!) and they start to  head off on an adventure in their new found car!! They are sooo excited to see how it runs, but something stops them from making a run for it... THE OWNERS!!! They couldn't believe their eyes...Hoops and YoYo were making off with their convertible!! Madness! (Don't worry the Houghs forgave them too!)This quickly ended their adventure. Now they are back on their shelf with the Gopher family. The Houghs are back with their car...Life is back to normal. It was only turned upside down for a few moments....phew!

And it is snowing again. The Sun was great..when it was here.

Happy thoughts are: April RAIN/SNOW showers = May flowers... That means it will be beautiful come May!!!
