Haven't updated my journal in a while, but this time, I wanted to say something because I actually attended Anime Expo this year. Some of my friends were persuading me to go last year, but I was too lazy to come with them. This year, my friends invited me again and this time, I decided to give it a try. Turns out, I had a lot of fun! I scared a lot of cosplayers I think XD, however, I had fun shopping in the exhibition hall and albeit I never got to see neither Gackt nor Miyavi in the Skin concert, I couldn't give a fuck because exploring the ever opulent shops was much more satisfying. I stood out in the sun waiting to get inside that damn Skin concert for nothing since the line only began to advance at what? 4? and it was going to end at 5? HELL NO. Since I was only staying for one day, I decided to shop instead ^^ I bought a Gabranth figurine and a friend of mine bought me a Balthier one (even if I don't really like him all that much).

This was funny because as soon as I saw this Domo-kun, I literally threw my arms as if about to embrace him/her and he/she was doing the same except I didn't know how to hug him/her because of her/his square shape

Umm, I was really exhausted walking around the exhibition hall a lot and while I was resting, I spotted someone who seemed to be dressed as Balthier and since I was hunting for FFXII cosplayers, I immediately ran up to him and took a pic, which was extra squee because I recognized Nero was next to him XD I felt bad because I took a video of them without knowing so they were kinda hangin in that pose for a while before actualy taking a picture LOL.

I recognized this guy was cosplaying as Lucius Malfoy from HP and I just had to take a picture hehe. I kinda like the character so...

Last but not least, Tetris blocks! ROFL, we caught them getting inside the exhibition hall so we called them in for a picture and had them connect

I wish I'd done 4 days, but my rents want me at home from Sat to Mon so I'm stuck. However, they'd let me go again next year and my sister wants to go too. I'll see if my friends took some more pics today.

Anyway, happy President's Day! Or, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Didn't get to go to Chinatown today, since we went 2 weeks ago, so we just ate at a Chinese restaurant. Went to Best Buy today to pick up a PS3 because you may never know when they lose 'em again. When we arrived, there were only 4-5 left.

The controller's pretty nifty, but I don't understand why they call it wireless, as you can see, you have to hook it up with a USB cable -_- Anywho, we bought a few Blu-Ray DVDs and they are CLEAR AS HELL. I was like, "Sweet!" I'm not gonna buy any games yet. I'll just wait when the good ones come out later this year. Hopefully Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, Enchanted Arms, and FFXIII.  Right now, I'm totally obsessed with Bully. I just love Jimmy and the Bully clique. ^_^

AHHH, I almost forgot it'll be Dec 24. this week until my mom reminded me we had to go to someone's house tomorrow and Saturday. I was wondering why she was barely wrapping up presents right now. Anyway, thank you guys soooooo much (know who you are ) for the presents! Can't thank you enough. Here's a pic I took of it.....listening to an mp3 player, lol.

Anyway, I was bored and nothin' to do. I did part of my Psych experiment because my sister already knows about it. However, I said I'm not gonna reward her until she does a certain something for me. She eventually consented to it and I'm testing her everyday. *evilgrin* I'm totally taking advantage of this experiment. I get to control my sis. LOL. I was also really bored and did some sidequests in FFXII. Albeit I finished the game, it still doesn't hurt to do some sidequests. All of my characters are in their high 90's and got the Tournesol for Basch (YAY Basch!) It does bout 8000-9000+ dmg on an average, which is good, but with Balthier doing 4000 a hit with the Masamune (which allows multiple hits+Genji Gloves) is actually better.

Since I wub Basch so much..

Yeah, I need a video captor or whatnot. But I'm cheap, so I do old fashioned digital camera for now. LOL@theflashes

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! *mwah* Unfortunately, there's no turkey at my house, but my mom DID buy chicken . I also got to finish FFXII!! YAY!! It was such a mindblowing ending. I would spoil it, but I kinda don't feel like saying too much.

SPOILERS AHEAD. ALERT! IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE GAME, DO NOT READ!!!!

Ending's basically from Penelo's point of view dressed up as a flower girl of some sort and Ashe being coronated as Queen of Dalmasca. Basch (^_^) also takes over his brother's place as Judge Master and now serves Emperor-to-be Larsa in peace. What else? Balthier claims he's found something more valuable than Ashe's wedding ring and Penelo piggybacks on Vaan's back and.....happily ever after. THE END. I thought it was a cute ending FMV. Not too tragic comparative to X, but maybe VIII. VIII's personally my favorite. I like endings that are not ephemeral and will stay in your memory forever (*coughs*VIII*coughs*)

For the people who say FFXII is the hardest FF since pre-VII, they're partially correct. I consider it more challenging though. Hell, I'm disappointed this game only took me 3 and a half weeks to finish unlike other FF's where I invest months on, but every moment is worth every dollar and time spent on this game. Whew, 97 hrs. of gameplay. Doing many sidequests make the final boss a walk in the park (Basch+Excalibur=LOOOOVE/one hit kills)

Tried drawing Gabranth. I think it looks ok, but it's not finished yet.

Hey-lo blog (or to the demented person reading this)

I just needed to release some pent up anger this school year because the school did a superlative job fucking up my program. I was put in classes I did not want AND some of the teachers I was admitted to evidently had NO abilities to teach the class well. I mean, I'm disinclined to learn when I have incompetent teachers. Doesn't everyone deserve someone who can actually give them proper guidance? What the hell are these teachers doing then? I got in this conversation with my mom last night. We were talking about certain individuals who do half assed work just to receive their paychecks, which in any case, don't deserve those paychecks at all.

Anyway, I'm feeling too incoherent to say what I really wanna say right now. Sorry for the rant. As far as I can tell, this schoolyear seems a little grim. U.S. History is so damn boring. I can't put much imput on the subject because World History is more stimulating to me.

Here's a little comparison

U.S. History = Just centuries old

World History = Millenias and millenias old = ANCIENT

My U.S. History book = begins when European settlers maltreated and eradicated the natives as well as converting them to their religions through brutal coercion (resulting in a series of insurgencies/revolts)

My World History book = begins when humankind evolved from neanderthals to homosapiens fending for themselves during the most arduous times

To put it simply

World History pwnz U.S. History

Enough about that. I'm too preoccupied with playing DMC 3 and a friend of mine lend me his Special Edition copy. I was elated by that because now I can play the sinister twin! *coughcoughVergiliuscoughcough* Interesting how my English teacher has a quote by Dante in The Divine Comedy on his door. I opted to watch CSI on Thursday. Everyone was like, 'Ooooh, can anyone pls pls pls tell me what happened to CSI? I was recording Grey's Anatomy instead! =(* PSSHHH. Why didn't you go watch the damn show instead? GA does nothing for me. I watched one episode, saw a man impaled by a tree branch and turned the TV off after 30 mins. It's not even remotely as enthralling as CSI, even though I dislike forensic type of shows.
