| Hey Guys it's been a loooooooonnnnnnggggg while since I have updated! Well here we go. Winter camp was AMAZING!!!! We took about 27 people total and God touched every single person at one point or another. We had several people who this was their first camp experience they were just overwhelmed by God's presence. I mean god never ceases to amaze me. I had a couple of people where I said "God you hit them or I will" haha... Luckily God did. I guess the bigger picture isn't if they were touched by God, but's how will they live after the encounter. Will they go back to the compromise in their life, or will they totally abandon all for the cause of Christ. My prayer and desire is that it would be the latter of the two.
Let's see... Youth group has been going Amazing!! We had 60 people total last week and my boy Opie (from dallas) preached a message on letting go of what's behind and grabbing onto what's ahead. God is really growning our group numerically and it's a challenge to keep up to step with what God's doing. I guess this is a good problem to have though! lol... I REALLY LOVE MY GROUP!!! These guys mean the world to me and I want nothing but for them to be Truly free in Christ. I can see many of them making good decisions and I'm excited to see where those decisions are going to lead them..

| Come to Winter Camp!!! Z-Life youth ministry is having a winter Camp January 27th-29th..You do not want to miss it!!! The speaker is a guy named Pastor Adam McCain!! YOU WILL LOVE HIM!!! Trust me!! One of the funniest preachers you will ever MEET!! We will be with about 6 other youth groups and there will be Paintball, 3 on 3Basketball tournament, X-Box.. Plus Jesus will be in Da House!! Cost is $70 and I need it by Sunday the 22nd...Let me know if you want to go and I'll get you a FORM!! YEEEAAHHHHAAA!!! | | |
| Hey yal!! I pray you have had an incredible week like I have!! If you ask me why, the only thing I can say is JESUS!!! I am in LOVE!!! My relationship with Jesus has been amazing- My prayer times, my bible reading times, my worship!! Everything is absolutly wonderful. The Lord has given me a fresh vision for my life and for the ministry, I can't wait to see how God is going to bring together things he has spoken in my heart.. | | |
| Right now I am at this place called IHOP (International house of Prayer) in Kansas city Missouri...it's AMAZING!! I am at a conference with 10,000 young people (High school, college, adults) from all over the country who have come together to draw closer to JESUS!! There is a prayer room that has worship and prayer going on 24/7 . They have different worship teams that do 2 hour sets and when they switch do it one instrament at a time so the music never stops. As I look around I see people spread out on their face, I see people pacing back and forth, I see people standing along the wall, sitting in chairs, Sleeping laid out stretched across the chairs, Everyone is just soaking in the presence of God. The musicians start out with a common song, then they will break off into a spontanious song or they will just sing words and phrases that come to their Spirit.. I can feel God soooo Strong right now to the point that tears are about to come down my face!! God has shown me that I've been in the routine for a while. Being a youth pastor there are a lot of expectations and it's easy to seek God for the purpose of ministry instead of seeking him out of a desire to know him... More than anything in my life I want to be consumed by the presence of God!! I want all of my thoughts and actions to be that which he can be proud of. I don't care if people think I'm weird or even lose intrest in hanging out with me...Something has been re-ignited in my spirit and it's burning bright...I was reminded of the dream that's in my heart and it's more real than ever, but it's going to take sacrifice.. Let me tell this to anyone and everyone. You need to have a vision for your life..You having a vision will discipline your life. It will determine what you allow in your life and what you don't.. Satan is out there destroying lives everyday b/c people don't have a vision for their life so they go down the wrong road. They make emotional descisions that rob them of their destiny. I will not be Robed!!! If God be for me, Who can be against me!! Jesus this is my commitment to you; I will let nothing keep me away from fulfilling my destiny!! My prayer is for discernment and guidence, and strength. I know Satan will try to fight by bringing frustration, playing with my emotions, attacking relationships, etc..but I won't STOP!! This I promise You LORD!! I love all you guys and I pray you will give JESUS your all!! Z-LIFE is going deeper (There are some things we need to break through in the Spirit and our break through is coming!!!) God Bless!! | Christmas is just around the corner and I have already spent sooooooo much money!!!! it's crazy! If I have spent this much already and I'm single, I can't imagine how much I will spend when I have my own family!! it's all good though, I think my fam is going to like what i got them, Especially my little niece Harmony Marie (Such a pretty name). let's see...What's going on in my life??? Z-Life went caroling at a nursing home this past sunday night, I thought that went great. We were able to sing to them and then spend some time talking with them. You know some of those people in those nursing homes haven't had a visitor in years, so they were excited for someone to sit down and talk with them for a while. I also believe it was a great experience for my youth because it challenged them to step out of their confort zone, and they were able to get a different perspective on life. Umm let's see, We aren't going to have Z-Life for the next couple of weeks due to Christmas and new years, however we will start again Wed. Jan 4th (Please be praying). This will be our first youth service of the new year and our wed night service. I am Soooooo Excited!!! By then we should be done with the Renovations so we should be able to rock and roll.. Ohh, The highlight of my weekend was preaching Sunday morning!!! I have only been at my church since July and I have already been able to preach 2 sunday morning services!! Thank You JESUS!!! It was AMAZING!!! The title of my message was "The fight for Relationships". I shared how Satan is attacking relationship (marriages, friendships, mentorships,etc) to bring disunity and disturction. If he can destroy our unity, he can destroy our influence; If he destroys our influence, he sestroys our effectivness. We also identified the weapons he uses, it was Amazing. Matt.5:23 talks about fixing broken relationships b4 we offer our gift to God. So at the alter call I challenged the people to make every effort to do their part in restoration process, the rest is up to God. I have heard sooooo many testimonies already about how God moved in peoples lives this week it's incredible.!! I love Jesus.. Also, this week I am going to this conference at IHOP. Noo Not international house of pancakes.. but international house of prayer!!..
