I can't believe I'm related to Joel!

So in honor of Joel's great performance in Midsummer Night's Dream, I'm posting this picture of him...

As you can see, he has experience at pretending to be a girl...

Wow... I haven't updated in forever... of course not much of interest has happened lately. So I am definately crazy because tonight I agreed to go to a midnight showing of Eragon... I'm not expecting it to be that great of a movie, but midnight showings are tons of fun so it should be worth losing several hours of sleep.

Culture shock

It's so wierd to be home... I didn't think that spending 3 months in a different culture would affect me as much as it did. Things that I wouldn't have thought twice about before I left now seem so strange... like driving (in a place where there are actually traffic laws and roads without potholes), being able to watch TV and listen to the radio, living in a house with heating, being around white people who speak English, using American money, and having a cell phone... I kinda feel like a stranger... So please forgive me if I seem a little strange for the next few weeks...

Pictures

Yeah, I know I'll be home in a couple days and you can all see pictures then, but I still feel like posting some anyways, so here are some random pictures from the last 3 months...

Random 011

These are the 7th grade girls that were in my study hall (along with their dorm parents). The picture was taken on multi-cultural day which is why they're surrounded by flags and wearing strange clothes.

Here are Elijah and Micah, two of the babies at the Tumaini children's home.

Random 004 Random 003

The girl on the left is Lule, the daughter of Eunice who runs Tumaini, and Mercy, on the right is one of the children who lives at Tumaini.

Random 007

Heres a random picture from my Safari... Kenya is such a gorgeous country...

And these next two pictures have nothing to do with Africa but I found them on Joel's camera so they're here :)

Random 002

This is my bro and Sarah C. at a 5-Day club : P

And this is Leah showing her enthusiam for spending a week and a half at Ceadarville :)
