  i bought a new car. finally!! i bought a 2008 vw rabbit. it's so fast and sooo much fun! i took it on a little photo shoot and made a collage:

dude i love when movies come out a couple days early....we're going to see harry potter tomorrow (tuesday) at midnight. i'm so psyched! speaking of harry potter,  i forgot to post my pictures from when jason and i went to see the creators of mugglenet.com speak about their book ("what happens in harry potter 7") in maryland. it was amazing. their book is freaking sweet and talks about all kinds of stuff in the hp series that i didn't even know. good stuff. some of jason's friends are huge hp nerds so we have long in depth conversations about our speculations on the last book. i could seriously talk about the last book all day.

job update: the new job is going great. i love it! "living" with jason is also going great...although i really miss mechanicsburg!! getting home is a lot harder than i thought. my schedule is all over the place.

jason and i are going to wildwood, nj this weekend to see his dad's bbq competition. his dad owns his own bbq company and does all kinds of competitions...it's so much fun! i hope we get to go to the beach!!!

monday starts my last week at the photo lab. it's bittersweet. i love my job...i know what i'm doing, i'm good at it, i love my coworkers, and i'm comfortable there. but getting a job with the liquor control board is the start to my career in criminal justice. i have worked so hard to get to this point and although i'm excited to be done with college and to have gotten a job so fast...i'm scared to death. i know that this is the right path to take, but i can't help but second guess myself. the opportunities i'll have with the state and the liquor control board are endless. i can become an LCB agent, which would be so much fun. after a year or two with the state, i can move into probation, which would also be amazing. when you achieve civil service status with the state (which for some jobs only takes 6 months) you can move anywhere within the state. it's really cool the amount of places you can go. did i mention my new job is in lancaster? this means i'll basically be living with jason. we've talked about moving in together if i got a job in lancaster..and now that i have, it's kinda crazy to think about. he still lives with his mom, who is amazing, so i totally love the idea of stating with them more often, but it's still a huge step in our relationship. we've been together for a year (on june 15) and most couples would be talking about marriage and stuff by now but jason and i aren't. at all. i love him and he loves me...but i'm not ready to get married and neither is he. he's working on his bachelors in accounting and he doesn't even want to think about marriage right now. and i totally love that about him...i'm so lucky that one of us has our head on straight. haha ok it totally bugs me sometimes..but it really is awesome. but again, i can't help but second guess myself. i'm a girl, so naturally i can't help but think about whether ot not jason and are "meant to be" or how long we'll be together. i know that this stuff really doesn't matter right now but i can't help it. i have to keep reminding myself that i'm 22 and if jason and i break up tomorrow, a year from now, or never, everything will work out how it's supposed to. we're having fun spending time together and sharing our lives together for the time being. plus he bought me a sidekick 3 for our anniversary so i guess i'll have to stay with him until the contract is up. zing!

got a new job, a state job with the liquor control board. so psyched.

got a new police dog, his name is vegas and he's from mexico. he's too skinny but wants to eat my cats.

summer so far: campfires, bbqs, pool parties, tattoos, cr00sh hangs.

harry potter in 2009. first in line. srsly.

  so it's 6:45am. i've  been up for about half an hour..i can't sleep. mostly because of cramps..but also because i'm so freaking excited about leaving for england today. i can't handle it! we fly out of dulles at 6:40pm and will be leaving mechanicsburg around 1pm. i can't believe i'm going back. i can't believe and i'll get to walk in and see the places i haven't walked in and seen in like 16 years. i'm so excited to see my family and i'm so blessed to be able to share my home with rachael and jason...what an experience it will be. i'll also get to see miss stephanie begley while we're in london (england exchange circa 2001, 2003 for thos of you who don't remember who steph is)..i'm so excited to see her!!!

so basically, we'll be in hattersley (outside of manchester) for 5 days and london for 2. word.
