| | saya show 2006I didn't realize how little sleep I'd gotten in the last 6 days so I slept today to avoid extreme exhaustion.
The SAYA show was...interesting. Technical difficulties all four periods, but 6 and 8 went relatively smoothly. 2 ran eight minutes late. 4...I flubbed every line, despite the fact that I wrote most of them, the microphone I was given was not on...and they played the final dance in the middle of the show--to the dancers' credit, they raced on and started, only to have Tech realize they screwed up, and the song went off, and the right one came on.
All in all, it went well. Sevens from last semester were waving at me like crazy and being the non-responsive person I am, it took me a couple of minutes to realize. Aww. Afterwards Jan asked me, "Are you really Indian?" Silly. I love that class. Wheee 7-5.
Hmph...I want pictures :(
The only thing about yesterday is that I want to see the show. They happened to tape 6th, which was the good one. |
