Topic #19: Is it better to give than to receive?
Topic #20: What is the purpose of tradition?
Topic #21: Non-Christians celebrating Christmas? What do you think Jesus would do?

For those of you looking for something to do this week, we've kept the forum up and running as usual. Please consider it my gift to you. Remember, this is a Socratic discussion, so please make every effort to ask questions of of members, especially if you don't agree with them.

As many of you already know, I hosted a conversation in response to my own frustrations over the Christmas holiday. You may weigh in with your own reasoning by going here to join the discussion: My kick in the face this Christmas Part 1, and Part 2. Rereading my 2nd post, I see some flaws in my argument. Can you find them? Regardless, in the end, it really comes down to this last question: What do you think Jesus would do? If you'd like to join in this discussion on your own blog, you may leave your topic link here.

For the most activity in response to your post, try to leave a link to your post in the reply to this topic by Wednesday.

Happy Holidays, everyone

Simone

Oops, sorry about that. I was trying to conserve space, but in doing so, I seem to bungle up the links.

It's really nice to see a xanga that actually promotes thinking.

Merry Christmas!

Or day after anyway.
Close enough.

Hi,

I stumbled upon your blog. Those are some very thought-provoking questions. I definitely will take time to think about them and then write about it. I'm glad I found this!
