Quick Study Break

I think this is going to be the toughest week of my professional life. Taking a quick break to uncross my eyes and gulp some Ibuprofen for my headache. When I got to the class this morning, the instructor had this story playing on his projector...

A woman took her pet duck to the vet. The vet examined the duck, poked him in the side, lifted his limp head, looked at the lady, shook his head and sadly informed her that her duck was dead. "Are you sure?" she asked. "Couldn't we get a second opinion?"

"Of course, Ma'am," he said as he left the room. He returned in a few minutes with his Labrador retriever. The dog put his front paws up on the table, sniffed the bird, looked at the vet, shook his head and left the room. Then the vet's cat jumped up on the table and looked at the duck before shaking his head.

With the lady finally satisfied that her duck was dead, the vet gave her a bill for $500. "500 dollars!", shouted the lady. "Why so much?"

"Well, if you had just taken my word, it would have only been $20. But Lab tests and Cat scans are expensive."

Please put down those rotten tomatoes.

Brandon & Rachael took in their 2^nd stray kitten yesterday. That's how it all starts guys:

And here is Jeremy holding our newest grandkitten. He was in a hole by the side of the sunday school building and our youth minister (Jeremy's dad) heard him meowing from inside the classroom.
