  • It's been... how long?

Looking back at this makes me realize how old I really am now. Crazy!

Oh, totally random... I'm outside in my backyard yesterday, when I see an uneaten loaf of french bread just sitting in the middle of the yard. Apparently my parents think that the birds will eat old french bread. So I pick it up to throw it (I'm bored), and it slices my pointer finger... a loaf of french bread. I'm honestly too embarrassed to tell anybody.

    The End.

  • The kid I almost got in a fight with just pissed me off in general. My friend, his brother, their cousins, and I were at this huge wooden playground just chilling, when some punk kids (the oldest couldn't have been older than 12) started cussing and smack talking us. Me, being the oldest and most mature, smart off to them. He heightened the argument by adding the words kick and @$$ in the end of every sentence. My friend is getting a bit mad, but I try to calm him down, mainly because he's a coward, and he would back out once it got serious... and I'd take them both on (I don't back down ^_^). I tell the kids to ignore them, and I make them walk off to separate ourselves from the area. We're tossing the football around and they start yelling again from a distance... because they're cowards. I yelled a couple of things back, but mainly stuff making fun of the fact that they're scrawny white boys who only with they were black... nothing offensive at all. They get pissed and start insulting my friends younger brother, who's a bit overweight. I have to hold my friend back just because I know we'll get blamed for whatever happens, since we're quite a bit older then them (me especially). Then all of the sudden Jesse's (my friend) great aunt comes out and starts yelling at  the kids. It was hilarious. You could hear the kids over there screaming  "Grandma's coming!" Jesse was still pissed, but I thought it was hilarious. That kind've diffused the situation. It was a sour ending, but seeing as I'm old enough to be thrown into jail, I wasn't going to hit them. I prefer making fun of them. It's funnier.

Arrest story is probably even more boring, but it was scarier. It'll come tomorrow or Monday.

I realize that I never update this thing, but I'll start doing it again. As of now, I'll post some exciting story titles, then explain them later.

I'm going to two proms... score!

I get my license tomorrow... score!

I almost got in a fight with some Junior High kids over a friend's little brother (I could've wooped 'em too)... score!

I almost got arrested during spring break... no score!

I also plan on commenting more. Since you people are more interesting than me.

    "Can you see this?"

So it was Christmas morning (a brisk 72ish degrees) , my family was up and awake, the presents had been opened and drooled over, and we were getting ready to go to my grandmother's house to have our Christmas lunch. We go over there and start to prepare food, and was having a great time. Then my aunt and uncle came over... Late.

I'm stepping aside from the story for a moment, to explain to you my aunt. Around 14 years ago, my aunt abandoned the family, on Christmas day,  for reasons that to this day we don't know (or my family has withheld from me... which I highly doubt). Around two or three years ago, my aunt snaked her way back into the family, coincidentally right after she filed for bankruptcy. Since then she's begun to unleash a barrage of snippy comments and remarks towards me and my family, in an attempt to alienate us and make herself the favorite daughter (she was major insecurity issues apparently). Of course, this is my personal opinion, but I've tried to be objective, and I believe it's true for the most part. My mom is too afraid to confront her (she doesn't want her mom to be mad at her), my sister is too passive aggressive, and my dad makes it clear that he doesn't like her... in a extreme passive aggressive manor (which is practically pointless). I on the other hand have no problems making jokes and and comments... not only in front of her, but about her as well, but only when she starts up with her stuff.

Moving along, the lunch went over fairly well. We were all in fairly good spirits for the majority of the time. Fast forwarding through presents and gift game... We're getting the gifts ready to leave, and my mom and I are kind've arguing over she's carrying home, and what I'm carrying home. My aunt looks me right and the eye and starts laughing (an annoying fake giggle). I look at her and politely ( I really did) ask what she was laughing at. She looked at me and said "Oh, I'm not laughing at you Sean... I can't even hear you from here." (she said from about ten feet away) I for a split second ponder that I didn't ask why she was laughing at me, or if she was laughing at me. So I look her right in the eye, wave Mr. Happy finger, and in the best voice tone ever, said "Did you see that?"

    ...

    She was flabbergasted,

    ...

    And it was amazing.

Luckily my grandmother didn't see me do it. She was the only one I was worried about seeing it. I didn't really even care if my uncle saw me do it. Because I could quite frankly care less about his opinion of me.

Now, I am in no way am justifying my actions by previously talking about how much of a horrible person my aunt is. I shouldn't have flipped her off when it comes down to it. I did, and I didn't apologize. It wasn't right to do what I did, and I hope to never do it again. I should've been overflowing with niceness so that she'd have nothing to hold against me in the future, and just to be nice in the first place. I'd like to suggest that you DO NOT flip off relatives, because you probably won't get off as easy as I did.

Note that I meant to click submit last night, but I was tired and I forgot about it. Oh well…

Last night was quite interesting to say the least. I had to go to this dinner group meeting for my graduating class (13 kids... woo) thing, which I wasn't really looking forward to, and it ended up not being all that bad. I generally got along well with pretty much everyone there. I wasn't Mr. Sarcastic boy like I normally am (because sarcasm scares them...), and I met some of the kids I had yet to talk to, which is something I should've done a while back. Then I met some girl who apparently knew me from when I went to another church... 6 years ago. I didn't remember her at all though, which was a tad bit awkward, but it all went okay. So basically, I behaved myself, and thus the night went well. Who would've thought that could happen, eh?

So after dinner, Dustin picked me up at Cheddar's, because we had movie plans. Let me tell you something, I've seen a monkey drive better than this kid. I literally at one point was scared for my life. Not only that, I had just eaten a big Chicken Fried Steak, and that wasn't really setting well with me. So the drive wasn't very fun. After all that, we went to the mall to go see the Ringer, but one of his friends was there and he had a gift card for the new theatre, so we went there and saw Narnia... again. About 30 minutes into the movie, Dustin gets a phone call and leaves to answer it. He walks back in and tells me he's picking some girl up and that he'd be back. Well, 20 minutes later and he hasn't shown back up. So this one girl called me wanting me to come over to her house to watch a movie. So since Dustin wasn't there and it wasn't looking like he was coming back, I just told the other kid (who I was later told that he was stoned... and I didn't even notice) I had to go and then the girl picked me up. And we were off on our way. Turns up Dustin came back up to the theatre to pick me up when the movie was over, but I was long gone by then (I love the fact that I ditched the kid that ditched me). Then the girl that picked me up told me some interesting stories about Dustin. It was all gossip, but hey, at least it was juicy. She acted like he was some pretty bad news, and she alluded to the fact that I should stay away from him, but it didn't really bother me that much. They way I see it, is that when Dustin gives me the  impression that I can't trust him, or that he's into something dangerous (besides the car ride ) that could get me in trouble, then I'll make a decision.

So anyways, she picks me up and we head over to her house to watch a movie. We watched some movie called The Gospel. It was about a music artist (he seemed kind've like a copy of Usher), who comes back to the church when he hears about his father's (the pastor) bad health. He then stays because of love and because he hates the new pastor, and then he comes to know Christ in the end. There was a lot of singing in the movie, which would normally annoy me, but it wasn't really the main thing until the end, so it wasn't bad. After the movie ended, it was late so her brother took me home, so I wouldn't have to wake up my parents to pick me up (darn).

Then the next morning, Dustin called me to see if I needed a ride to church, then he started talking about how he basically never came back to the theatre (except to pick me up, apparently the pothead didn't tell him I was leaving when he called -even though he saw me get into the car- just that I needed to leave). So I didn't really feel bad about leaving. I did lie to him about why I left though, which of course he found out about. So it was pointless for me to lie to him. But he didn’t seem too upset, so either he’s a good liar and he’s pissed off, or it’s not that big of a deal. Either way, I’m not really worried.
