| Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't written in here in sooooo long! I have been sooooo busy. Working full-time and having class full-time is plenty for me... So, I went out on two dates last weekend with two different guys...one of them I had a blast with and the other one I think it's just better that we be friends...the guy that I had alot of fun with is coming to my house tonight and I am making him dinner!! I'm kinda nervous cause I dunno if he's gonna like my spaghetti. =) Anyway, I am kind of disappointed that I didn't do all that well on my Anatomy test, nor did the rest of the class...everyone, including me thought they did really good, but when the tests were graded and they came back I got a 29/50! I was like, "WHAT?!" But really that's about it...I guess I'm gonna get off of here and do some math homework! Leave me some comments! =) ~Karen~ | | |
| Friday night at 10:30 PM, the whole Eubank Family's life changed. At only 44 years old my uncle was pronounced dead at this very hour. We will never know the reasons why something this horrible had to happen. I know God has his plan for everyone...it just breaks my heart to see my two younger cousins know that they will not be able to go hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and all those other things that father and sons do. When I went in his room on Friday night I knew something was very wrong. We prayed and prayed for God to work a miracle and heal David. But as I said, God does have a plan for each and every person. I know that my uncle David is in a better place now where he isn't feeling any pain whatsoever. Again, if you have a chance to visit the website that they made for my uncle, here is the address:

| Hey everyone! Not alot going on...I hardly ever write in here anymore. I like Myspace alot better...anyway, I just wanted to update everyone...
My uncle got hurt about a week ago when he was at work...he was trying to lock down this abandon building and somehow someone wrapped a chain around a wire that exploded and electricuted him. He was taken to KU Medical Center with serious burns...some burns are 3rd degree. I went to see him the day it happened and he looked terrible...swolled and bleeding and unconcious (thank god!) Anyway, it's only been a week and thanks to all of my friends and family praying for him he is doing alot better. They had to take skin from his legs and put it on his neck, arms, chest, and back. The doctors say he will probably be in the hospital for about 2 months. His sister-in-law actually created a website that tells about his progress from day-to-day.

School starts on Monday...I am nervous and excited at the same time. I hope I meet new people and make some good grades. I just really can't wait until I am all done with school. That will be an accomplishment that I can be proud of! =) | | |
| Wow, I haven't written in here in soooo long!
I had an awesome trip in California! I definitely want to go back. We went to San Diego and went to the beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Mexico...the list goes on. Then we stayed in Los Angeles for a few days at Le Montrose Inn and Suites. Anybody that knows who Nick Cannon is, yeah, well he was stayin in our hotel!! I saw him too!!!! OMG, he's gorgeous! Anyway, we went to Hollywood, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, and we saw a few of the movie stars homes. I had an awesome time.
So, now I have a full-time job at the hospital. And I am still working at Target. If you guys didn't already know they kinda screwed up my hours and they have me down for 27 hours this week at Target plus I have my 40 hours this week at the hospital! So, this week I will work a total of 67 hours. I guess I'm gonna have a nice paycheck! =) Well, that's all for now, I'm extremely exhausted so I'm gonna go take a nap!! | | |
| I had an awesome 4th of July!! I got to hang out with my good friend Ashley and our friend from high school who was up here visiting from Kentucky! We went out to eat at On the Border and then to see fireworks somewhere out in Lee's Summit. The traffic was horrible!! There was this dude in this white truck that almost rammed Ashley's car, and then he was cussing at us cause he wanted to get in front of all these other cars...people are sooooo rude!! We were gonna get some fireworks to shoot off, but we didn't have the time or the money. Being in college kinda sucks sometimes cause ur always broke! I just paid for my fall classes which was a total of about $986.00. That is very cheap compared to other colleges, but all that money is coming out of my pocket. I have other good news: I officially have a full-time job at the hospital starting July 18th!! I can't wait. I'm gonna be making some serious money.
My plane to California leaves tomorrow morning at 5:45. We fly to Atlanta and then to San Diego and should be there about 11:50. I am SOOOO excited! I still have to pack though. I have alot to do today. I will be back July 17th. I will bring my cell phone, (hopefully I will have signal) and try to keep in touch with everyone! Wish me a safe trip, cause those California drivers are nuts!! | | |
