Repairs, pt 1

Spent $200 today. $160 on new tires, $40 on gas. Made an appointment next week to get another $160 worth of work done to replace some ol' thing that's leading to premature tire wear.

Sounds like maybe shocks, tie rods, and related parts. Yesterday I put in 7 gallons of gas, cost me 28 bucks.
It's around $4/gal. and rising here — ugh! Good luck.
