| Do pick up lines actually work ever? I think they're slightly obnoxious. If done in a joking manner it makes me smile but when a guy honestly tries to pick me up with a cat call or something of the sort it's like a bad taste in my mouth that I can't seem to shake. Anyway, if a guy is looking to pick up a nice girl, I'd recomend simple conversation. You know like, "Excuse me, do you know what time it is?" If a girl's intrested she'll smile while she answers and the conversation should be continued. If a girl says she doesn't know and doesn't smile, then she's not intrested. I don't look for love because I believe that when you're least ready and when it's most unconvenient for you, that's when love strikes. When I'm single I absorb myself in school, friends, family, and hobbies, and the relationship part somehow always finds me when I'm most busy. Women and men shouldn't be flying all over the place to look for love. Then again, being young I have my whole life in front of me with no reason to worry about finding love. I'm sure as people get older it gets harder and harder. Perhaps the fact that I'm comfortable being single makes it easier to get into a relationship. I think you have to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with someone else. |
