Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask “How are you?” do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
, do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time

To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music

Before the song is over.

Please remember the Betts family in your prayers as they go through this trying time of losing a daughter. Also, please pray for Tom Wahl as he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  These are two families that desperately are in need of prayer. Thank you.

How is everyone? I hope amongst all of the projects, final tests, papers, and studying you are able to find a chance to breathe! I'm so ready for the summer! A much needed break for sure. My mom is joining this fairly new business. It's called wall words and basically it is words that you can stick on your wall (duh!!) But the cool thing is they peel right off and don't leave that nasty residue that seems to be left with other adhesives. They can even print out pictures and you could put a picture on your wall. You should check out the website if you are interested it's www.funwalls.net

Update on me: Just got back from Six Flags in ATL. Brit came down and we had a blast! It was joyous times- despite the unbearable car ride of being shoved three wide in the backseat of an SUV with limited air supply because it was too cold for the others up front... other than that it was amazing. It definitely didn't satisfy my craving for rollercoasters, if anything it amplified them! Cedar Point anyone??? :) Hope everyone finishes off well and see you all soon.
