A lot has happened since I have been here last.

1) I moved 2 hours from the place I called home for 10 years leaving my friends behind. My family is even farther away.

2) Got a job. I so lucked out when I moved here. Right away I sent in my resume for the exact job I wanted. It was mine 2 weeks later. That was 10 months ago and I still love it. The only thing that could possibly make it better is more $$ and I am working very hard on that one. A few months ago I started an "experiment" at work and so far so good. The "experiment" should turn into a promotion by the end of the year if all goes well.

3) Got married! Our wedding was absolutly amazing! We went to Mexico and stayed at a resort that had just opened a month before we go there. We had a wedding planner at the resort that set everything up for us and she got everything perfect! I couldn't have asked for more.

4) Started a weight loss program. When I first moved here I went to the gym regularly. That lasted until November when I did an egg donation. I got back into the swing of things pretty quickly, but sadly my gym that I loved closed. We had to find a new gym. We ended up going to Anytime Fitness. That place makes me feel fat and very bad about being there. On our first day, there was one girl talking about how she was only 9% body fat. Ugh!!! So...5 weeks ago Derek and I started a 10 week weight loss challenge called Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping. We work out six days a week. 3 days we do resistence training and 3 days we do kickboxing. I LOVE IT!!! Yesterday we had our 5 week testing. I have lost 1-2 inches all over. I shaved 2 minutes off of my mile time (running bleh!) and the part that I am most proud of is that I did 60 push ups in 1 minute. The first time I tested, I could only do 28. I am so happy with this program that I am planning on continuing with the maintenance phase. Maintenance is cheaper than out monthly gym fee and I look forward to going there and getting my butt whooped into shape every single time I am there.

All in all - things are going great!

On July 14, my boyfriend proposed!!! We'll be getting married on January when we go on our vacation to Mexico. YAY!!!

It's great to be an evil genius.

There's this completely computer illiterate girl that I work with and yes they still exist. She's been asking me to do some projects for her and being a nice girl, I have helped her. I have helped her 2 times now and she has taken credit each time. It sooooo pissed me off!! This chic had to ask me how to change her font and font size and how to save an attachment that I emailed to her. She's DUMB!!! Anyway I got my revenge today. I helped her with a spreadsheet - no problem. Then I added a footer with my name and date on it. HA!! Try to take credit for that one, Biatch!! There's no freaking way she'll be able to figure out how to get that off of there.

I know I haven't been here in ages. I do feel bad about it, but I am a super busy girl. I took on more work when I didn't think I could possibly do any more and I have a wonderful man in my life that keeps me occupied in my free time.

Derek is probably one of the greatest guys I have ever met. He tells me that he is not perfect, but I think that he's perfect for me and an added bonus is hat he's super cute. I feel like I am the luckiest girl in the world and I will only be even luckier when I get to move in with him. I am waaaaay excited about it!!!!

Anyway...that's what's new with me. Later!

Tonight the biatch that I work nights with is really pushing my buttons. She is a dirty ol hag that couldn't get a date if she paid a homeless man AND said she would pay for his meal and she's telling me that I'm not in a real relationship because the guy I am seeing lives and hour and a half away!!! That bitch needs to watch herself!!

I forgot to mention that she told me that I need to stop working so hard. She says it's not the American way. I told her that it's my way. I can't help it that I would rather work for my $$ than get public assistance like her lazy ass. She works the bare minimum for hardly no $$ so she can get government $$. Unbelieveable!!!

Today I had a very interesting conversation with M. It went something like this:

M: Hey Jess, can you believe I made it this far in life?

Me: Not really

M: How do you think I did it?

Me: I have no idea. It boggles my mind really.

M: Ummm...that's impossible, because I lost my mind a long time ago.

Me: No, I was talking about my mind being boggled. Frankly M, I believe that your survival to this age is a medical mystery.

M: (walks away laughing hysterically)

This is what I have to deal with every day. Somebody get me outta here!!!

Every time I talk to M today, the Chicken Dance song goes through my head.

She mentioned that damn fan incident today, so I mentioned that she may need to go to therapy to work out her fan issues.

Tonight is Uptown. I am super excited and ready to have some drinkies. He he he!

I have this total idiot that I work with. I will call her M. M is a cross between Ralph Wiggam from the Simpsons and Milton from Office Space. It seems like she tries to piss me off every single day with her stupidity. This morning I had enough.

When I got to work this morning, I was in a cheery mood. Tomorrow is Friday after all and my plan is to go to Uptown after work. I was cheery anyway - until M opened her mouth.

I guess before I get into the heart of my story - I should give you some background information. M hates change and things have been changing around here. The main thing is that our whole dept. is split up and scattered throughout the building. M is still in her area, but another dept. has moved in. She views it as an invasion really.

Ok so this morning M came back to my area complaining that the "aliens" wanted to borrow her fan, because the were hot. She told them no eventhough she wasn't using it herself. Her reasoning behind her decision was that the fan was hers from home and she thought they would steal it. So... me being the biatch I am, I told her to grow up and offered the "aliens" the fan that I wasn't using. Ha ha stupidhead M. Take that!!!
