so, i spent my summer on mt. pisgah .. .

we played together.. . we worked together.. . we lived together [in ever-changing roommate situations].. . [my first roomie, anna, & me] [me with roomie #2 and roomie #1] [so after anna went back home and bryan quit, doug became roomie #3] [me &  my suitemates.. . rocking my classic dance move -- the bongos] aaaand we camped .. . and rocked out .. . and threw a good party or two .. . and gosh do i ever love them all .. . this summer was unbeatable. if you care for specifics, just ask.  <3

okay, so .. .

for those who have inquired (and those who are silently wondering), i have not abandoned xanga .

however, i have had absolutely nothing worth sharing in quite some time .. . or perhaps moreso i have just been too lazy to type and upload photos.

but now i have the opposite problem:  i have so much to say but no real way to express it.  and on top of that, extremely limited internet access. 

i'm living in north carolina for the summer, volunteering with acmnp (a christian ministry in the national parks) and working as a hostess in the pisgah inn restaurant. 

i feel as though i could spend hours upon hours discussing my experience thus far, which is overwhelming considering i have only been here a week.  however, i don't have the time right now, so it will have to wait.  i promise exciting posts including photos sometime in the near future.

i should also note that while i love living here on top of this mountain, i am pretty cut off from the outside world.  (although this really is more good than bad)
