edit: haha yes there are only two photos as of right now since it's january 2. the idea behind the photoblog is to take one picture a day and post it up. so by the end i should have about 365 pics or so. :)

5D details and a dino's foot
I've been shooting with a 5D for a few months now and I'm impressed in many aspects since the switch from my D70s. One area that wows me is the details and how details hold up even if I crop in like crazy.
Is it a dinosaur's foot?
nope it's the foot of this duck looking thing. I've never seen anything like it. Above is a box of the original picture that I used to crop a foot of the duck thingy

inspired...
nature inspires me a lot. my buddy, adam and i went on a trail way in the boonies of marin county. it was awesome. i hadn't taken nature shots in a while. it was a welcomed change :)
i need a tripod very badly...*hint* Christmas gift idea ;) *hint*
i just liked how the leaf was laying in this shot
no idea what this stuff is called. it kind of reminds me of the black thing from spirited away but in my picture it's yellow.
