| As of last Thursday, I am now officially a private pilot!!!!! I can now go rent a plane a fly it by myself. |

| Yesterday was the last day of classes!!!!!! Now there are just finals left. I should of had my private pilot by now, but the weather was bad for some and also there have been scheduling conflicts with instructors. I had my stage check yesterday (the checkride for the end of the course, not for my pilot's license) and I failed that because of my landings. So I was not very happy yesterday. Today my instructor and I went to work on my landings, and I a got them fine. So it is looking like Tuesday for my stage check, Wednesday for my private pilot checkride. |

| Today was the opening of our new performance center here on campus. It is the biggest building on campus now. I can't begin to describe how huge this thing is. For those of you in Columbia it is about 3/4 the size of the Koger Center. This huge thing for our small campus.

| Well, it has been a month since I last updated. Here is a rundown of what has been going on.
- I have done my solo cross country flight, I went to Lufkin, then Palistine, then back to Longview.
- My stage two check ride will be on Wednesday
- After that sometime (hopefully Saturday) is my end of course check ride with the FAA and if I pass that then I will have my private pilot's certificate!!!!
- Classes are getting towards the end, it is real hard to stay motivated now. I feel very lazy and uncaring
- Our new chapel building is opening this Thursday which is pretty cool. It is the largest building now on campus.
- I will be coming home May 5th in time for TeenPact!!! Yeah!
