Much as I am enjoying Obama's impressive victories, I wonder how our nation will adjust when each individual American can no longer say in faith and accuracy: "I'd be a better president than this dumbass." Will the nation suffer an epidemic of lowered self-esteem? Who will we feel superior to? Will we get by with the magazine rack by the supermarket checkout? Your mind it simply swims.

Sofa king tired of law school. Learn more by playing around on Westlaw or watching Law & Order. Bitterness levels exceeding toxic. But I feel pretty good. I'm almost to the last board. Then I just have to beat the end-guy. Winter Break December 20: Turn in three research papers and take an Evidence exam. December 21: DC -> Seattle -- I will be home for Christmas and New Year's. Let's all recuperate. January 3: Seattle -> Osaka -- Visiting Maiko and her family, and taking in the sights. January 13: Osaka -> DC -- Back to the village for my last semester of law school.

There is something funny about the fact that Gilbert Arenas is one of the top 30 Halo 3 players and his avatar is all tricked out. I was also reading his blog and he calls levels in games "boards" -- how old-timey is that. Like "I can't get past the Snakeman board in Megaman." Here is my Halo avatar.

I went to New York City last weekend and attended this show where Arcade Fire headlined. The show actually sounded much better from where I was standing than in the clip. The venue was a huge outdoor park on Randall's Island. Before that were Blonde Redhead, Les Savy Fav (who alleged this was their "first show, thanks for going easy on us"), and a couple other forgettable bands. Also, yesterday I was introduced to the winner of Survivor, Yul Kwon. I had no idea he was a Yale Law grad.
