Work has been insane and now has quieted down. We moved some preschool classes around, so there was a lot of preparation involved. But, God is good and has really been speaking

Our church has started up a web space...sorta like MySpace...of which I am a moderator of. If anyone wants to join it, feel free...I've met tons of new people and there are downloads of our crazy sermons...we are a "rock n' roll" church, full of former drug addicts/gang members etc., so be forewarned if you are used to religion, we ain't about that!

Sorry I haven't blogged..it's been a busy week with Miss K's 8th b-day! She got an MP3 player from Grandpa, so I am right now downloading 250 songs that she just had to have. Luckily they are all free! (no I'm not stealing, the MP3 player came with 30 days of unlimited downloads). Gotta share two goofy things the kids said.

Kiley went to Macaroni Grill for lunch yesterday with Grandpa & Grandma. They had the waitress sing to Kiley...which they do in Italian..beautifully. Grandma Sally said Kiley kept her head down the whole time until the end. When the girl left, Kiley lifted her head and said " I didn't understand a word she said, did you guys?"

Then Gavin today made me feel ANCIENT! We went to Target so Kiley could spend a gift card. We parked and as we were walking to the entrance Gavin said, "Hey Mom, did you notice we parked in front of one of those Peace vans (an old VW bus) from the '90s?"  I started cracking up. "Um, that was the 1960s Gav."

Something else to make me feel old: American Girl has added a new "historical" character, from 1974!!!!
