It is because of Hashem’s overwhelming mercy that we are still standing in strength. His compassion never fails.

Motzei Shabbos (Saturday nght, after Shabbos ended) I got a call from a friend of mine...

An hour later (this was a last minute decision) Jill, Lauren and I were at the convention center in Jerusalem waiting for Matisyahu to come onstage. This concert was SO, SO, SO fun! When I get the pictures and video back from Jill I will post them here.

Recently, I have been taking Chassidus classes, and I have noticed how much Matisyahu has been influenced by the Tanya (which is a major Chassidic sefer). I should write more about my classes sometime, because the things that I am learning are absolutly amazing.

I think one of the highlights of the concert was when rabbi Yom Tov Glaser (in a shtoimel), one of my rabbis gets up on stage and dances with him...then Matisyahu climbs up into the balcony (where we were sitting)...Rabbi Glaser follows him...and then they are dancing right in front of me. Literally. I could have touched him...but of course we just don't do that kind of thing.

Oh, and anytime there was a Jerusalem referance, everyone went crazy!...oh my gosh it was SO fun. Most of the audience was yeshiva students/seminary girls...Just thought I'd share.

So, we just have a couple of hours before Pesach (Passover) begins, so I have to go.

Chag Sameach! Pesach Sameach!

I uploaded my videos from Purim, so here they are.

Things turn musical at the Purim Seudah...

This is what it is like to drive on Purim in Jerusalem!

At the Yeshiva where I heard the megillah being read...

Create Your Own
A psalm, a song of dedication of the House, by David. I exalt You, L-rd, for You have uplifted me, and did not allow my enemies to rejoice over me. L-rd, my G-d, I cried out to You, and You healed me. L-rd, You have brought up my soul from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not descend to the pit. Sing to the L-rd, you His pious ones, and praise His holy Name. For His wrath endures but for a moment, when He is conciliated there is long life; when one retires at night weeping, joy will come in the morning. In my security I thought, "I shall never falter.” L-rd, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; when You concealed Your countenance I was alarmed. I called to You, O L-rd, and I made supplication to my Lord: What profit is there in my death, in my going down to the grave? Can dust praise You? Can it proclaim Your truth? Lord, hear and be gracious to me; Lord, be a help to me. You have turned my mourning into dancing; You have undone my sackcloth and girded me with joy. Therefore my soul shall sing to You, and not be silent; L-rd my G-d, I will praise You forever. (Psalm 30)
