I just want to make this year special. to make a difference. i know everything cant be perfect but i want it pretty close to that. but my hopes cant go anywhere unless we, as leaders, dont live out what we preach in our everyday lives, even when its not expected. its so easy to just be good when its expected and aas soon as the retreats over go back to our lives and not think anything else about it. according to scripture, your punishment for this is worse than never knowing christ at all. you have no excuse. i know you know the answers to the questions and how you ought to live. so why dont we? were straight up lazy and feel we know whats best. you know what. we dont. God isnt trying to keep us from fun but trying to make our life so much better. most dont undestand that and alot of people will never understand that. but God doesnt have any grandchildren... you have to be His child. I know i stuggle with this but im changing. and you knwo what. im so much happier and life is so much better.

| well regionals was fun. we won two games 4-0 and last cause ref 4-3. but we won our group and advanced to the quarterfinals. we dominated but just couldn finish. ended up giving up a crappy goal with like 8 min to go and lost 1-0. but for the first time im not disguisted with winning cause i know i gave it everything i had. i played the best soccer ive ever played and played it consistantly. and there were a lot of scouts there. well im so sore today... haha. and this second day off. 4 full 90 min games in 4 days is tough.
well on to some good news. i gots a new car. its a 2000 buick regal sedan with only like 47000 miles on it. its a really nice car. doesnt look or run like its 5 years old. its been serviced every 3000 miles so its in excellent condition. i like it. ill miss my little sports car but this new one will be alot more relieable for college and trips. it looks good sept from the back it looks a little grandpaish. but itll be nice and serve me well.

| the world cup has been fun to watch even with all the teriible calls that screwed the US. im already getting little nervous bout this weekend. ha. we leave for regionals thur morning. Its in little rock this year. gonna be hot as always. im really excited. this is the best draw weve ever gotten but still anyone can win. I just pray we play well. if we do we will advance easy, but if were not clicking i going to be very worried.... i just pray i play to the best of my ability and to glorify God. Hope there are a lot of coaches there watching. Mrs Jackie asked me to lead devetional, im really nervous bout doing it but i feel i should. no one from our team has ever lead it. its always been the parents. i feel really awkard talking in front of some of my teamates about that stuff and the parents. but i know God is in control and will give me the words to say. My summer is about to go crazy. youth trip, odp camp, and summit and possibly work at camp or white water rafting or montreat. who knows. im really excited bout it all but i know its going to make the rest of the summer fly by. well im starving so i going to eat. please keep me and my team in your prayers. not that we will win but that we will play for Him and not get injured.
