That time of year to update again LOL

Nothing much happening though - working part time as a QA Tester @ a company doing photo websites and photo kiosks.  Always on the lookout for full time work of course - got an interview coming up on Mar 9th ... got my fingers crossed for that one.

Got a DSLR since late summer 2006 and shooting like crazy with it.  Get a chance to shoot HK entertainer Alex Fong on Mar 10th.  Saw a bunch of stars earlier this year - Miriam Yeung came for some charity concert as did Sammi but I didn't see Sammi though.  Then the SUCCESS Gala event came back this year after missing a year - bunch of smaller younger stars but still a decent show - saw a bunch of them but only met Yumiko Cheng.

Well 2005 has come and gone - good riddance. Seems to be getting to be a stupid habit but now I find myself unemployed again just in time for the holiday season. Well hopefully this new year will be a good one for a bloody change. I'll see if I can "make" it a good one!

I finally picked up a new mp3 player for my car.  Damn lights went out on my previous car deck - I never knew how much I missed seeing the time on the display LOL .... anyway, it was probably the fuse but I dunno how to change it anyway.  I bought the new deck sorta spur of the moment - damn thing doesn't even look good in my car.  I really should have spent more time looking but oh well.

Well that was my excitement for the week LOL ... maybe the month LOL

Damn, I haven't updated this in ages.  Well I guess there was nothing particularly special about 2005 so far ..... end of spring almost already too.

Hmm, let's see what happened.  Well some local musicians decided to put together a benefit CD in support of the Tsunami Relief effort and a publicist for a couple of the musicians suggested my name when they were looking for a photographer to document the recording of the main track off the CD..... one of the musicians called me up and asked and for sure I volunteered :)

Anyway after 8 hours in the recording studio with the musicians and technicians (and a freebie sushi dinner :) ) I ended up getting about 10 of my photos on the CD booklet.

Let me see .... I kept following HK entertainers this year as usual.  Saw Miriam, Cookies, Bobo Chan and Yumiko up close and got a pic with Yumiko but only an autograph from Miriam.  Than later Fiona did a promo and I was able to get a pic with her as well as an autograph.

This last week I had to email a bunch of shots off to a small magazine so I'll get them published there - this is a regular thingie for me for this small magazine.

This weekend ended up going to dim sum with buddies from a previous job - another regular thingie - great chance to catch up.  Right after that I went to lunch with my cousins (yeah I can eat a lot - I had just finished dim sum 20 mins earlier LOL) and we caught the new Bruce Willis movie, Sin City.  Nice looking movie - I'd recommend it for sure!

2004 was an uneventful year ... like all the rest before it I suppose LOL .... but hey, it's almost over now.  Let's see what 2005 brings.

In 2004 I was thankful for being employed .... after 10 months of unemployment before it .... I'm hoping for some good things in 2005 like maybe a raise or something.  But then the market for programmers is pretty dead right now, I should be thankful to be working.at all.  It was pretty slow the last few weeks, I hope that doesn't keep up or I'm a goner LOL

That work.  As far as my photography hobby, it's still just a hobby - haven't really made any money at it but once in a while getting my pics published in newspapers or small magazines.

Personally?  Just a disaster, one failed relationship after another LOL ...

LOOK OUT 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
