Just when all my balls were arranged perfectly down below...

My car is less than 3 months old. On Tuesday I blew a gasket (sp?). There were also some sensor issues that needed to be fixed...all totalling somewhere in the vicinity of $1,250.

Furthermore, by car DIED at a red light at 32nd and Prospect. Some gangsta thugs were nice enough to push it to the side of the road...where a gas station was. This gas station was so shady, the gas cost $2.23/gal. Luckily, I had it towed quickly enough that the tires or any other parts weren't stripped and stolen.

I have NO IDEA where I'm going to get the money to pay for the repairs.

Yo, Jesus...a little help please?

There is a Snakes on a Plane soundtrack! 96.5 is already playing the title track, appropriately called "Snakes On A Plane (Bring It)." The "rap group" ( I use that term loosely) is called Cobra Starship. I urge you to check it out. Seriously though, most of the album is decent....too bad this one song has to ruin it.

In other news, I have completed my first full week of school. I can't even tell you how tired I am.

A Dumb Idea: Trying to buy Cubs tickets for a summer vacation

A Dumber (for your grammar nazis, More Dumb) idea- Trying to buy Cubs tickets for the 4th of July weekend

The Dumbest idea: Finding out the Cubs play the Sox during said weekend, and still trying.

Seriously, who do I have to blow to get a few tickets? I refuse to spend $200 per ticket, thats just nuts.

This may be an impossible quest, but I still have 9 days to find out!

Where have you been, xanga? How come you don't ask me about my life anymore??

Sittin at home on a Sunday night, watching Family Guy while I wait for Greys Anatomy to come on. Thoughts and updates will be in bullet form as I no longer think sentences are necessary.

*Vince Vaughn is hilarious...have you seen the trailer (trailor? which one means "house on wheels? neither?) for The Break Up...guess who's going to be seeing that as soon as it comes out?...that, and DaVinci Code.

*got a (free) blender yesterday...smoothies, anyone?

*interview for JCCCs LPN program on wednesday...cross your fingers, all of you! Except I already made it into Penn Valleys program so I won't cry too much if juco doesn't accept me.

*the library SUCKs. i spent like an hour looking for 3 specific books...they didnt have any of them. I'd rather go to B&N and purchase their ridiculously priced books...which i did...online...i got the new Augusten Burroughs book...think Running With Scissors...muy excitido...excitidiso...i don't speak foreign language.

Thought I'd have more to say but not so much....

The 21st birthday came and went...with a bowl-sized long island iced tea, among other things. How is it that I've never had a LIIT before? I got some pretty wonderful gifts too, including a butt load of Royals tickets. And real glasses! As in, glass glasses! Up until now we've only had plastic cups, so you can understand my excitement. It was a great day.
