So take about 1/8" of sleet and snow and mix it with a city of a few million retards and hillarity doth ensue. I swear if it even looks like the rain my freeze people here freak the fuck out. I had the dumb ass clerk at the market tell me "to make sure you stock up on supplies" like the 2nd fucking ice age was coming or something. Its supposed to be freezing tomoorow and then get back into the high 60's. If u die because u don't have supplies for 1 day then u deserve to. Besides most people, myself included, could stand to miss a meal or 2. On top of that the local media treats any "wintery mix of weather event" like its the 2nd coming of christ. They honestly preempted all day time tv today on one of the local stations to cover the winter storm of aught 5. Granted it was prolly and improvement over judge judy and days of our fucking lives but still its rediculous (sp?) none the less. Not to mention that everyone here drives like a retard whenever it snows. Heavy braking is a bad fucking idea. So is driving 90. Is it really that fucking hard to slow the fuck down some and not tail gate the person infront of u so u don't have to slam on your brakes? But i'm mainly pissed cause i spent the first part of hte day filling out paperwork for my new job and then another 3 FUCKING HOURS!!!! at the DMV. Damn the man. On the upside i have a toll tag now so welcome to 1999 i know. Anyway i'm a big boy now i suppose so this is just the kinda adult shit i'm gonna hav eto deal with.

Hooray for gainful employment. I got hired on at Frito Lay today. I think I'll have decent job security since I don't see the decline of the junk food industry coming any time soon. I'll be doing just basic tech support but hey its better than cleaning toilets....probably. So I just got back from arkansas this weekend. Had a blast seeing all the old friends and drinkin with all my old buddies. Saw Aeon Flux. That movie sucked hard. Course it was funny cause matt and chris and justin rolled in completley hammered and proceded to talk loudly through the whole movie. I thought it was amusing but most of the people around us didn't think so. Oh well fuck em. So anyway back in dallas now. Hopefully some sweet bands will come through here soon. so remember........ fuck the police.

So i just finished reading 1984 and Animal Farm for the first time.... Yea i don't know how i got all the way through high school and college without reading them but somehow i slipped through the cracks. Basically animal farm is a short version of 1984 but they basically have the same message attatched. Its funny cause some of the things that are described in 1984 u can see paralleled in our own society and its kinda scary. But enough about that. So since i'm new to this thing i just assumed that everyone would update every single day. But then i realized that most peoples lives are mundane and uninteresting and that one day is the same as the next with rare exception. Even over a weekend there's rarely enough that happens to you to make more than a paragraph or 10 minutes of conversation. This in turn made me wonder how the hell we're able to yammer on about nothing for so long so much or why people even have "blogs" I've noticed that most peoples blogs are rarely about their day to day activities but more along the lines of making whitty observations that affirm how smart we are like this drawn out late night ramblings of mine. anyway now's the time for me to pick out my cool slightly underground music that i'm listening to to reaffirm my indy status.

So anyway i saw this and well.....i think i'm going to hell but i kinda giggled just a little bit.

So for halloween i went as an out of shape 20 something so i decided to run 3 miles to make up for that fact and my over indulgence of whataburger and such this weekend. I don't agree with aging in reality or in principle. I will be and forever am a toys'r'us kid. Anyway, the job front beckons to me from early tomorrow morning / this morning so i must part with you now.

Xanga

So anyway its 1:30 and i'm bored so i decided to make a xanga. I couldn't see why anyone would want to read the dribble that is sure to come spewing forth from this sight but hey, whatever gets u off. So anyway i suppose u all already know me and if u don't well then ask someone who does because i'm sure their picture of me is more complete than that of my own. So last night i went and saw Iron and Wine with Calexico. My friend Josh went with me and let me just say that it roxored my soxored. Seriously thought just the mood swings during that concert were amazing and the crowd was an absolute gift. It was completely and i mean completely silent when they were performing. It was really kinda creepy in retrospect. I decided however that the crowd was pretty young or i'm getting entirely too old for my own good. So anyway i'm looking for a job atm so that sux. anyway i guess we'll see how this goes. Even money says i don't update this ever again.
