How come we don't get Labor Day off?  That sucks.  It sucks even more that I have an 8am with all this work that needs to be turned in because I wasn't there the first week of labs because the classes were so full. 

Anyways, summer vacations are offically OVER.  I feel like I did so much this summer ontop of 2 sessions of summer school.  I just most recently got back from Miami for Helen's Bachelorette party and it was pretty fun.  BUT, I do have to say... Miami is overrated and the people that live/work there are really rude.  The clubs were pretty nice though.  Mansion is a liar!  They advertised it as saying that DJ AM would be there.  So of course, we were ready to go... instead, all night long... there was this guy up there that LOOKED like him, but wasn't.  What a rip off.  But I guess people had already paid for their tables/entrance fees and it didn't really matter by then anyways.  Liars.  Helen and I even took a picture of this fake DJ AM thinking it was the real deal.    The bridal shower was yesterday and so I drove up to NoVA for the day to make it.  The food was so good.  That's all I really do... travel/eat/sleep. haha... geez...

OH YEA, so Chris and I went on a  little camping excursion right after I got out of summer school.  I literally finished on Friday, and we went home for a few hours and left at 3 in the morning.  We went all over Maryland trying to catch some decent size fish or crabs... but NOTHING!  The fish were the size of my hands.  It was freezing at night and I get cold easily normally... so all I did when we would fish at midnight would be to sit in the chair bundled up in my one thing hoody and eventually fall asleep.  Poor Chris.  He had to handle all six of the fishing rods, bait them, reel them and check the crabbing nets :) We fished for seriously hours and hours and hours.  Our boat was fun.  I drove it for the first time! Wheee! haha, our camp site was fun!  It was a freaking sauna in the tents in the morning so I always ended up sleeping outside on the chairs and then when Chris woke up we would move in to the car with the AC on :) Roughin' it out, huh?  Haha... spam and onions are yummy when you're camping.  It's like ramyun during church retreats. 

Okay, I need to start studying.  It's beginning to be about test time again.  I'll put a lot more pictures up on facebook later... I don't have all the Miami pictures anyways. 

I was trying to back up the shopping cart and knocked over ALL of those ice cream cones.  And you know what?! He didn't even help me put them back!  He stood there taking photographs of everything. Jerk!

ah, so tomorrow is the last day of summer school.  i was supposed to be studying all week for this final, just because i need to do well on this test since i missed the 1st exam due to my vegas trip... but alex came down for the week to visit.  after picking him up from the bus stop in roanoke we chowed down on some hooters. yummy wings, and since im 21 now- i had my first legal beer as well! then they played drinking games while i studied for my lab final :(

the next day consisted of going cliff diving.  so much fun.  i have pictures and more from priscilla- but i'll upload them all at once after i get them all.  anyways, i mustered up the courage to jump 40 feet and dannng, it hurts your buttocks.  the first time was fine.  second time, chris and i were being cheesy- so we said we'd jump together holding hands.  i don't know what went wrong, but i woke up the next day with dark purple bruises running down both of my thighs and butt cheeks.  it looks like i got beaten to death on my backside.  but i don't care i'm proud of my warrior wounds.  four of us swam from the cliff to the other side of the quarry, and i can't believe we did that.  i used my flip flops as fins, and my abs were in excruciating pain.  i am so out of shape.  then we had bowling league- and boy, do i suck now.  oh well. 

i played with the boys that night, and i learned i'm pretty darn good in quarters =P  woke up the next day and went golfing.  but since i don't golf, i sat in the cart and took pictures.  i didn't know i was allowed to leave the cart so when i learned i could- i tended the flag =P  hahaha, i need to learn how to play!  anyways, the course was absolutely goregous, i loved it.  we played 45 rounds of mario party that night after getting ready for our boating trip. 

after class today, i came home and woke up the boys to leave for claytor lake.  goregous there as well.  we ate some lunch and got on our boat, played in the water, fished but caught nothing and kept doing jumps off the side of the boat.  i had my second olympic swimming experience when our rafts drifted away and we swam to go get it.  i thought i was going to drown!  our boat was so nice, i still feel the rocking motion as i'm sitting here typing this!  anyways, that was mucho fun- and we took a gazillion pictures, just like every other outing but i want to post them all at once, so please be patient :)

i'm exhausted.  and i have a final to study for.  this is the usual xanga break during my study time.  i can't wait to go camping with chris on saturday.  i haven't been in forever.  that should be fun.  i'll post pictures up all at once after camping, and the week back in NoVA. 

but i did post a few on facebook, so you can go look there for a few of them until i do it here on xanga.  blah, im just trying to get every last minute out of my break.  i should get back to it.  goodbye.

I don't understand.  Usually on the weekends here at Tech, I don't do much.  But with Chris gone- it's SO FREAKING BORING.  Maybe because I have someone to watch tv with and then play a million games of Speed... and of course... someone to eat the most random but extravagent things with.  Still.  It wasn't so bad though... until today- I laid there watching tv and I almost went crazy.  It's so weird being by myself!  And I usually love being alone.  I guess it's hard going from being with someone 24/7... literally... to nothing!  I do miss that boy.

Anyways, I realized that I'm done with summer school in two weeks.  Whippeeee! But I have to come back down on the 14th for our bowling league.  We're #1 :)  But then I'm going to the beach with Chris before classes start- so that should be fun.  I'm just excited to see my family and Cody. 

I put up some pictures on facebook.  We have so many pictures together but I never really posted them- so I did a few on there. 

My grandma's sister called me last night from Korea and since I can't speak Korean that well unless I have alcohol in me, all I could really say was "neh" and I would say simple sentences or mumble it really quickly but I know she got the point of what I was saying.  But I sat there and I cried.  I could hear how sad she was.  I can't imagine not being with my family if one of them passed away.  Sometimes, I forget that when I go back home I won't have Sunday brunches anymore.  The last time I went home, I picked up my phone to call my grandma to tell her I was back in Springfield... but I remembered that she wouldn't be on the other end.  It's hard.  I don't think it's hit me yet.  But when I think about it I get so sad and my jaw locks up so tightly that it hurts.  I use to cry at every meal with Chris.  I don't know why I did it when I was eating... probably because that's a time I keep my mouth shut because I'm so busy eating... but my mind is still going.  I don't want to cry anymore because I feel bad for Chris. He's put up with a lot since then.  A lot tears.

The other night, Coko bit Lacey right underneath her eye.  I didn't know that she had actually bit her, but I heard Lacey crying and so I just yelled at Coko... since she's made Lacey cry before.  But this time Lacey was shaking so hard and just sat there... I looked closer and her eye was red and filled with blood.  I freaked out and called Chris.  I dabbed her eyes and then I saw the wound was underneath her eye and that the blood was probably just going into her eye.  I was relieved but man, I was so frantic and scared and my eyes wanted to well up and cry because... I felt so bad for Lacey.  She's so small and I hated seeing her like that.  That was my first tramautic incident with a pet.  Thought I'd share.
