I haven't updated in, well,
FOREVER. I have been quite busy filling out those time consuming and mind warping surveys over at my other
xanga. Yeah, I am a girl/woman obsessed. I say girl/woman because I, personally, like being called a girl over a woman. My mom is prefers woman to girl and/or lady. Anyway, I am getting side tracked.
Rhyming~ It's great for poems and songs, but in everyday conversations [or anything else for that matter] it just ticks me off. It really bothers me. I had written "Yes, I am a girl/woman obsessed", but it rhymed so I had to change yes to yeah. Even though it's always yes never yeah. [Miss Congeniality!] I made the unfortunate decision to tell my coworkers/friends [they're both I guess] about this so for two or three days they would start speaking in rhyme. Geez. It's just sooo ASDFKJ^$#%@()*%. I don't know why it bothers me, but it does and I am, now, worried about rhyming in this entry. To me it just sounds wrong. I tried to put a little rhyme there for you guys...you know to be funny. I had it typed out, but I couldn't do it. Luckily none of my friends/coworkers read this. Not that anyone else does except for Becca [ILY Dr. Becca!! you should have come to UH! XP]... I read it. I go back to my older entries and reread some things. It gets annoying when I see the entries where I posted pictures, but they're just broken links, now. ): This is why I have started saving most of my pictures/icons/spam to my photobucket then posting it. I never delete anything for there. Hahaa~
History~ My 1301 history teacher [from june summer session] just walked up to say hello. He was a good teacher, but he was teaching US History up to 1877..booorrringgggg. Sorry, I just don't care too much for United States history. We aren't that old so there is only so much to study. Anyway, he works here[UH] during the fall/spring semesters and at HCC during the summer. I am taking US History 1302 now with a different professor. He's cool, too. Actually, I've never had a not-cool history teacher. They're all a little wacky. Lol. I love them all[in the normal student-teacher way. i wasn't IN LOVE with them. freaks...sheesh] Anyway, my sister is a history buff. Well, when it comes to European monarchies, more specifically English monarchies. We share a set of shelves. She has two and I have two. One of my is covered in my mangas [small collection] and my FRUiTS magazines[Yeahhh Japanese fashion!<3]. the other has my books on it. Well, they're mostly series or my guilty reads. [Slave for Fashion.<<< good book!] I have a few up there that people would consider "classics" or "worthwhile literature". On my sister's shelves. Tons of books. From Monet to King Henry's fifty thousands wives to Art of War [which I am reading btw.]. Comparing our shelves. Mine = Very pretty, colorful and fun looking. Kelsey's= intelligent, library-esque, muted colors. Library-esque just means a lot of books standing next to each other, by no means does it look boring. Actually, some of the books are really good. Ending here...next topic
--- so I stopped by Whole Foods for lunch, today. After getting around the construction traffic that is. I ended up buying a box lunch. Teriyaki tofu, rice, red&yellow peppers and bok choy. The rice is the bed with the other food items on top. It's really good. I was hoping they had the salmon there like they did last time, but it was tofu or chicken. Tofu > Chicken. At least after eating chicken pizza the night before. (o_o;) I also bought myself a treat!!! Creme brulee! <3 It is love. Actually, I could really go for some tapioca tea/boba/bubble tea/whatever other names there are for it. Soooo many names. I am lucky to know most of the names because I know what people are talking about anytime it's brought up. For example, my friend Sam[my chickow!!^_^] and I were talking on aim one time and I was all "Have you ever had tapioca tea?!" and she was all "No. What is it?" and I was all "It's this yummy tea drink thing with tapioca balls in the bought and you drink it..." Sam goes "Ohhhh! do you mean BOBA?" & I was like yeah...same difference. Lol. Anyway, apparently tapioca balls are not made from tapioca so my calling them tapioca balls is a misnomer? I think I started calling them tapioca balls b/c the drink is tapioca tea and I didn't know the name of the balls, I just knew they were in the drink so they are teh balls in tapioca tea...so tapioca balls. [I do not believe I have ever said the word "balls" that much in one conversation/entry/speaking period before.]
---Ugh, I haven't solved cases in almost year. I totally don't remember the protocol. Of course, I am here by myself so I can't ask anyone. X( grrr...I need to ask someone to reacquaint me with this. adjldkjf. -sigh-
Stopping here. I'll try to update/write more often. Or not.
