I'm at work. Currently on lunch break. Thinking of actually blogging something real, deep, meaningful. But not now. Tomorrow. With pictures. And joy. And more sleep.

Ashely (on saturday will be my sister in law) and I terribly sad, at the jazz game, when we lost to the lakers for the last time of the season. sniff.

Wednesday night we took our youth group to see Family Force Five. Upon entering the building, we are told it's $15 at the door. BULL. Their myspace said $10, nothing about at the door. A site I looked at said $10 in advance, $12 at the door. But nothing about $15. We walked out to consider our options, since that was $70 more and they didn't take credit cards. (I did offer my checkbook services.....) Erik (youth leader) went back in to discuss the issue. He was pretty much told to get out. We went back to the van, nearly ready to head back. But youth pastor Kurt and leaders Durrell and Erik took matters into their own hands. Walking behind the building, they went looking for the band. To..........talk? Ten, fifteen minutes later, they come back, slight smiles on their faces. Victory! Our good friends Family Force Five are true to their fans. They not only discussed the problem with my friends, but brought out the venue manager, who looked at the contract. Truth is, the price WAS being jacked!!! By those lousy people at the front door. WEAK! Taking extra money from all those innocent, emo/punk/confused teenagers and 25 year olds! Needless to say, someone is probably in trouble.......and we were let in, I think for $12 instead of $15. (They were quite professional with us when we came back through the front door.

In other news, today Susanna walked by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in the Grand America Hotel, downtown Salt Lake City. OMG!!! High School Musical Three is being filmed this month!!! OMG!!! East High!
