Happy Birthday to me!

Since my last post was MA's birthday, this is fitting. Things are good, just got back from a show on the west coast. Ma came out with me and we had a lovely 3 day weekend. Seeing some 300 foot tall Redwoods was awesome, you really can't take a picture and give them justice. God has made this world so similar but so fantastically different. Imagine if we were all alike, what a boring place this would be. Thankfully he gave me a great wife who compliments me, filling in where I am weak and vice versa.

I am having back spasms today, not nice. I was taking it easy too, I hope back to the exercise tomorrow gets me back to normal. MA bought me a new driver today, I can't wait to try it out. Thanks love!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my lovely wife RAYRAY!

This is Rayray season's end. Within 3 weeks is her anneversary, Mother's day, and today, her birthday. I am sorry that the weather is not nice enough to go golfing . As you all know, Rayray is the love of my life and I am glad that I have now been involved in over half of her birthdays. I can remember the first one when we were just dating. I bought her a tennis racket and wrapped it with gift wrap. Her mother was stunned that I used "costly" wrapping paper, lol. Hmmm, I didn't order her gift until last week, so I hope it arrives today. Sorry honey if it is not there. smooooooooooooooooooooochi

Pen's Win

It is fun to see a different Pittsburgh team do well. The Pen's have won the first two games of a series for the third consecutive time. Go PENS!!

I have spent two of the last three weeks out of the office with a busy week ahead that will be like being out of the office. It is good to have a team that can take care of things day to day. MA is happy to have me home for a bunch of weeks in a row. She is just happy to have me here to move her mother again, lol. I wonder if we are setting a record for most moves of an elderly mother. She has been doing better and is wanting to move again. MA is putting her foot down, praise God!

Tomorrow I am playing golf at a very nice golf course in this area. Unfortunately it is colder than normal and is supposed to rain all day. This is a large outing for some customers of one of our distributers so it is not cancelable. I have my rain gear and underarmor ready! My son gave me the underarmor for Christmas and is happy that I will be finally using it, lol. Did I mention that I picked him up from school last Friday and he has been a help to us with the move and made his mother breakfast in bed for mother's day? Good going Rob.

24 years ago, I wed my wife. It has been a glorious ride through children, growing a business, houses and revivals. Keeping our love in Jesus has been the wisest thing we could do.

He's Alive!

What a wonderful morning! We celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The anointed one of God who came to save our souls from hell. Thank you Lord for making me part of the body of God! He is risen so we also have that guarantee that we also will be with him forever alive.

We wake the children (21 and 20) with 2 songs: The Easter Song by 2nd Chapter of Acts, and He's Alive by Don Francisco. These are two older songs from the time of my Spiritual birth, but they proclaim the joy of this morning. My daughter had to down load these songs when she was away at college, such a part of tradition. Every one have a great day and celebrate with me our Lord!

I had to blog on this also. Mr Rogers was hot and new when I was 5 years old, the new kid in the neighborhood and an alien ( from Canada) also. I had Jason (husband of myjoystephanie) take my picture in my sweater. I have to say I don't like the picture, but in honor of Mr. Rogers.....

Congratulations to Stephanie (http://www.xanga.com/myjoystephanie) and Jason for closing on their new house. There is a picture on her site of myself and Mary Ann sitting on the back porch. One of the last times I was over there (they bought Steph's parents house"), it looked like this

Their neighbor had a problem and slammed her car into the side of the house.

It was amazing that this could happen if you could see the angle it took to hit the house.

I am still waiting for warm weather. Work has been busy so I did not skip out to golf Thursday when the weather was great!

Came into work today and had a chance to get caught up on some items that get done a few times a year. I also had the chance to talk to some of the shop guys to find out what is needed to help them. That feels good. I have such a good crew, but I am not sure that sometimes they fail to ask for help when they need it. I think life is like that. We try to muddle through when we could ask God for some suggestions or help. God has all the resources of the world to help us, we need to ask. When we try to do it in our own strength, we wear out. Why not ask God for solutions and finances to accomplish his work.

Superbowl Sunday

New England, NY Giants, pretty good game at the half. The Giants are beating the Patriots up in all ways but the score. I guess I hope the Giants win but you will know by the time you read this.

It was so nice today that I went outside and hit golf balls. The ground is wet, but I did work out some swing problems, too bad I don't think I can take off this week to take advantage of it and the good wheather.

It is great to know that my time as coPastor is coming to an end. The extra responsibility wasn't that bad, but with everything else, is should lighten up to normal pressure, lol.

While weeping may be in the night, joy comes in the morning.

The Lord brought me immense joy this morning in church. While I may still shed a tear or two for missing my friend, the Lord's joy is in me. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Today this is an emotional joy and I am basking in it. It was palpable in church today! Woohoo, thank you Jesus!

So after coming home, I loafed! I do not do that much in the summer, it must be hibernation, lol. My weekdays are busy and so are many of the nights. Saturday we met to discuss many things with our future pastor, then I went to work for a few hours. I got home and worked out then went to deliver food that my lovely wife made for the Pastor's family. I felt like I accomplished much.

I was going to go hit golf balls today at the indoor range, but ended up just watching Tiger beat the pulp out of the rest of the PGA to win again. I am looking forward to going out to play. Hmmmm, so far it is saying 40 next weekend, how warm does it have to be to play? What do you think Ron?
