| Long time no update huh... So let me tell you a little bit about what's been going on in my life. This semester has been going pretty well so far. I have sooo many tests and projects, but other than that it's good. Luckily I don't have any classes on Friday's this semester so that's my day to sleep in and relax... It's exciting finally getting into my major classes. I love my Smad 202 class because we get to play with cameras, switch board, audio board, and other neat things!! One of my dreams is to go to Korea and work for dramas... I think it'll be sooo much fun!!!!!!
Living off-campus is great . I actually have the room all to myself (but it was good rooming with leslie and gloria back in the days) and I have my own bathroom. I still have to do some readjusting and decorating of my room which I will get to in the near future... I eat a lot of bab and gogee at home. I love all of my roomies they're awesome!!! I'm kinda sad that I haven't been watching a lot dramas this semester, but I started a new one called "Wedding". It's pretty good so far. It's about a girl and guy that has completely different personalities and view on life that start liking each other. That's not what the entire drama's about, but it's part of it. It's a good stress-reliever drama to watch sooo if anyone wants to watch call me~ It's kinda getting cold these days sooo everyone remember to bundle up and stay warm

| GEM 2005
Wow GEM was such an amazing experience that it's so hard to
express into words. I miss every minute of GEM... all the laughter,
tears, and fellowship that I had with the GEM crew and kids. It was not
always easy and at times I was very exhausted, but it was only with
God's strength and the encouragement of my brothers and sisters that I
was able to get through this mission.
I want to thank all the co-leaders that I had at some point of
the camp... DP, Jinny, Lydia, Sam, Lenny, and Sharon for being such an
encouragement to me. I'm so glad that I got a chance to seve with you
guys. I definitely saw God work through each and everyone of you guys.
Thank you...
I definitely miss our everyday busy daily schedule of waking up at
6:00am, going to prayer meeting, eating breakfast at 8am, homeroom,
doing praise classes forever, lunch, extracurricular activity, more
praise classes, dinner, evening worship, night prayer meeting, eating
yummy Korean food (chicken, pizza, bbahng, ddukbbokgi), doing laundry,
and finally sleeping...
Although preparing for opening celebration was tiring, when it
was show time we all gave our best. I'm going to miss listening to your
beautiful voices (Haerin, Lydia, Jinny, and Patty). I'm not going to
forget about the pure angelic voices we heard the time we practiced at
Club Highla...
One CRUCIAL thing I once again realized was the POWER OF PRAYER.
Through prayer anything and everything was possible. Every
time one of our members felt sick or tired, we layed our hands on that
brother/sister and just earnestly prayed for them. In some cases God
healed instantly and other times it took longer, but WITH PRAYER GOD
DEFINITELY MOVED...
I want to thank John-Michael and Yonmi our staff for all your
prayers, hard work, and encouragement for the team. You guys did such a
great job of leading us and guiding us from the beginning to the very
last minute of the GEM camp. I know you guys did so much running around
and behind-the-scenes work for everything to work out smoothly. Thank
you soooo much!!
This is going to be an unforgettable missions trip for me. It was
so awesome to see God touch the hearts of young children and just
watching them praise God even with the language barrier. I'm going to
miss their smiles and friendly hello's... I already miss the entire GEM
crew, all 29 of you... I'm sooo glad that I got a chance to
meet and serve with each and everyone of you... I pray that God may
continue to use you and bless you all abundantly...
Last but not least, I want to THANK GOD for watching over us and
working in amazing ways at the GEM camp. It was only because of YOU
that GEM this summer was possible and that we were blessed so much. I
hope and pray that YOU were glorified in all that we did. Thank you!!!

| This is a pic of my class for the VBS/English camp we did at ÇÏ´ç ÃʵîÇб³. I had the 5th and 6th graders. They're sooo cute and some of them already sent me emails. I miss them sooo much... Our next destination is daejun. I pray God may work powerfully... God bless you guys!

| Hi guys! I'm finally in Korea for GEM!!! It's 5:33 am here right now and for the first night we have spent the night at a jjhim jjeehl bahng (sorry i don't know the spelling). We're supposed to tour around Seoul today.. I wonder what it'll be like. I don't remember anything from the first time I went to Korea. I was just as little baby.
After our tour of Seoul we're planning on going to Eumseong to teach in a VBS camp. I'm really excited!!! I hope that our GEM crew can really be used as a light in Korea this summer. I believe that God will do amazing things here at the GEM camp. We have about 30 volunteers in total. I hope that you guys can keep us in your prayers. I pray that God's will may be done and that He'll be glorified in all that we do... | | |
