well in a few hours it'll be my bday Its weird and I feel old, even though I'm not haha. I had a really good bday weekend. On Friday the girls took me to eat at docs and then we went to Augusta to a cornmaze. It was so much fun! I was kinda scared what they girls had planned because we all know that I hate surprises and I'm really nosey, but it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. The people there found out that it was my birthday and they gave us a free hayride. It was so beautiful outside, even though it was cold. We also saw a few shooting stars which was really cool. The owners also gave me a few pumpkins which was really nice of them. It was a really fun night and I'll try to post pics later, if I can figure out how to do it hahaha.

I've decided that I'm not going to Africa this summer or Haiti for spring break. I was going to go to Haiti, but when I thought about it I realized I didn't really have a desire to go to Haiti. I really wanted to go to Africa, but I didn't want to spend my whole summer away from home. Maybe I'll go after I graduate or something. So I get to spend one last summer with my motown crew yay!! I think I'm going to try to get a job as a nurse's assistant at the hospital, or maybe I'll just work at the mall or something. Its nice knowing that I will have all summer to be at home w/ my family and friends. I feel like I didn't even have a summer this past year because I was in Searcy taking classes in june and most of july.

well I better finish my clinical paperwork so I can actually go to bed tonight...have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Well my life hasn't changed much since my last entry...nursing school continues to take up 99.9% of my time. I had simulation yesterday and it was probably one of the most terrifying moments in my life. Its scary to think that if you have a bad day you could bomb simulation and not pass clinical-even if you got A's the whole semester. So I'm praying that I passed. I'm going home w/ Megan to Little Rock tomorrow night, so it should be fun. We're going to go get our hair done, go shopping at the mall, and go to barnes and noble and buy nursing care plan books (wow I sound like a huge nursing nerd!!).We're rewarding ourselves for surviving (even if we didn't pass) our first clinical. I'm so glad for my nursing friends, without them, I would never be able to survive!!

So my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and 5 days (thats the 31st for all those who would like to buy me a gift esp a certain someone in motown hahaha j/k!)Its hard to believe I'll be 22....I know I'm not, but I feel old haha.

I can't decide on whether I want to go to Africa this summer or Haiti over spring break. I'm leaning more towards Africa just because it would be a great nursing experience, and I've wanted to go since high school when I found out Harding's Nursing program goes every summer! AND it works out better now because Angila and Jordan aren't getting married until the end of July, so I'll still be able to be in her wedding YAY!!

Well my Angila and I are going to watch a movie-I love my roomie! Everyone have a great rest of the week....and pray that I passed clinical! haha

yes I know, its been ages since I've written. I have tried several times to start a new entry, but I keep getting distracted. I have a few minutes of time so I thought I would fill everyone in on whats going on in my life! I officially started nursing school this semester....I love it, but I also hate it. I love going to the hospital and working with patients, and for the most part I love my classes as well. The only part that I don't like is the hours upon hours of paperwork. Mondays are the days I loathe, but after its overwith, I go back to my normal happy go lucky self. Its hard having to study all the time and not getting to hang out w/ friends as much as I want, but I've made some really good nursing friends which makes it easier.

I am ready for thanksgiving break. I know its only september, but I'm couting down the weeks until I can go home. I love harding, but I'm just ready to go home and see my family for a day or two. I am also ready for a BREAK from school. Nursing school consumes every waking moment, including the moments when I should probably be sleeping but I have to be up studying. I can't believe its already the 4th week of classes! The semester is flying by!!

Kojies had our first mixer last night. It was a lot of fun. There were a ton of amazing girls coming out and looking at our club. Its weird to be on the other side. I remember going to mixers and trying to meet as many girls as possible, and now, here I am on the other side still trying to meet as many girls as possible! I am looking forward to our next mixer in a few weeks!

Well I better finish studying so I can go to bed....getting up for 5:30am clinicals sure comes early!!

Well...only 2 more days of classes...thank goodness!! I am so burnt out....class everyday and studying all night is not fun...especially when we have clinicals at 6:30am haha. But I'm not complaining or anything....LOL. Acutally classes have gone really well and I've enjoyed them. The rest of the summer is going to be jammed packed....I'm going to be home next week, Florida the week after, home for 1 day then I'm off to DC to babysit my cousin for a week. At least it will keep me busy and I won't get bored!

So I'm trying to decide if I want to go to Africa for 6weeks next summer with the College of Nursing, or if I want to go backpacking in Europe with Megan Cloninger for a few weeks. We could do both, but then I wouldn't get to be home at all...which is hard because I only get to go home 3 times during the school year. Oh well...at least whatever I decide to do I will be overseas next summer

Well I better stop procrastinating and work on my legal/ethical panel discussion and my Major Healthcare Plan  Everyone have a great day!!!!
