Summer at last.  Actually it's been summer for a month.  I had so much I wanted to do this summer.  Get a job, learn to cook (non-dessert items), get fit for crew, make a website, and read a lot of books.  So far all I have done is get a job.  All the time I thought I would have just disappeared somehow.  Free time is like an open bottle of alcohol in a frat house.  Maybe I'll give this xanga some more love.

It's almost been 2 months since I've last updated.

Well... all I can say is... 63 on my probability test.
No, I'm not saying I'm failing...
Or even that I'm unhappy...

.......cuz that is reason enough to celebrate tonight!!!!!!!

class average = 45.
Apparently, this test was punishment for the huge number of people who cut the class on a regular basis *like me*.  I never thought the day would come when I celebrate on getting a 63.  Even though I'm taking the standard 4 class load, I am feeling a little stressed out about everything.  Gone are the days of no mandatory homework and pre-test cramming.  Right now I've spent over 15 hours working on my intro comp sci project.  "Hairy Cdr and the Chamber of Stata" its called.  (Cdr is pronounced "cudder") It's a really fun project debugging aside.
Other than classes, crew is going pretty well.  Our boat just broke the MIT freshmen record, which doesn't say much I guess... but I really like the coach.  Who else would say things like:
"you feel a lot better after you beat up on some shitty crews.  history has shown that putting someone else down makes yourself feel better."

or "I don't like to take criticism, so I don't."

"Most schools don't look at anyone whose 2k is over 6:30.  We don't look at anyone who's under 6:30 'cuz we know they're not going to come here."

someone excitedly says blah blah blah just pulled a 6:15!!!
"At any other school you'd be thinking, what is he cut, thats almost good enough for the 2V."

and finally, "It's like your wife cheated on you, and are you going to take her back?  Well, it depends on how hot she is."

O-zone - Dragostea Din Tei

Best song ever.

yay for my nearly-monthly xanga updates!  haha it's updated so infrequently I bet everyone's probably forgotten I ever had one.

Winter break is um well.. almost like school except I'm not.. cuz I'm there half the day anyways hahahah (to use the gym mostly and maybe internet for a little downloading).  But mostly my days are spent sleeping (~50% of 24 hours), eating, at school, and shopping.  Hoping to meet with some more high school friends.. actually haha only 2.

Cooking is fun too.  Made 2 pumpkin pies recently.  Planning on making another cheesecake and a pecan pie soon.  As well as scrambling eggs--asian style.  Then maybe I'll work on making an actual dinner and not just desserts.

I think I'll also go driving tomorrow morning, you know, when no one's on the streets... So I won't hit anything.

Florida in a little over a week.. woohoo!  the 2k at the end of it not so fun... but that's far away.

This week has been pretty fun, staying up all night and all. actually first time i've done that.

Crew is actually hurting these days.  Ouch.  And people are catching up rapidly.  10k on Monday, day of truth.
