So...yeah, to all who care...I am deleting my xanga page and this time it's final.
Don't really have time for the up-keep of all these different sites, not to mention I simply just don't care that much. So, I am keeping my facebook and that's pretty much it.

So...farewell xanga buddies. (if I had any) ha ha

How would YOU respond to the following things??

"I can't eat, my head is talking to me!"

"Is Santa real? Because he's a spirit like God...right?"

"I don't want to be a transvestite anymore, what do I do?"

All of these were things I dealt with in the past 3 days at JohnBeck. Yes, some days there get very intersting!! But, I still enjoy it and love the kids. :) :)

Why is it that the ambulance calls have been extra sucky lately?? (that was actually an understatement)

Why is it that even though you get 8 hours of sleep, you are still tired?

ehh, whatever...life goes on. sometimes slowly, sometimes too fast, but it still goes on.

Oh looky here, I haven't written for quite awhile.
Perhaps that is because there isn't much to say at this moment in time. Not because there hasn't been anything going on, but because I've been doing a lot of thinking about rather critical stuff, and I don't feel like posting them on the 'net for all to see.
Mostly because I do not want (even the most well meaning of people) to offer me advice and "help".

Therefore, I will just post to say, that I am moving through life quite well, I am still here...for the most part enjoying life.
I love this time of the year!! Thanksgiving and Christmas=lots of time with the family! And now, I have a new reason to enjoy this season a little extra! I get to make new memories with Chris and his family! I'm sure that'll be exciting.

I cannot describe how wonderful it's been to incorporate two new men into our "family life". So much fun!! Now all we need is some girls!

GOD is always good.

Yesterday was definitely a bad day!!

After work, I was working on my speech, trying to get that done for class that night. We got an ambulance call for an MVA on Gish Road. Yeah, that one was pretty much the worst accident I've seen yet! Pretty much going to be etched in my mind for a loonngg time!
Not even going to go into detail, it was so aweful! Two brothers died. Very sad!!

Being on that scene made me a little late for class. But, I was really surprised at how understanding my professor was! After explaining the situation, he said that I could either do my speech next week, or be one of the first to speak, and then I could just leave and go home. I opted for the second one, simply to get it over with.
On my way home from speech class however, we got another call. A cardiac arrest at a church where they were having a funeral. That was also another wierd call, because the lady collapsed right up in front of the church. So all the EMS personal are running through a quiet, already somber filled place, to get up front to start CPR and attatch the AED. Again, sadly, the women didn't make it.

Coming back from that call, we got yet another call!!! By that time I was just ready to rip my hair out, and throw my pager into whatever deep gully I could find first! Thankfully though, that was our last call of the night, and it wasn't too bad. An elderly lady who had some syncope episode and fell in her living room. She'll be okay. (thank goodness, I had seen way too many deaths in one day!! I think three is about my limit!)

So, if anyone wants to know the definition of a bad day, that's one of them!!
