the perfect kick off to summer. the fact that I've been done with school for a month now is disregarded to increase the scope and just plain coolness of this xanga post.

we have all the necessary ingredients for one of those summer weekends where responsibility be screwed and heady freedom be welcomed.

Oh mondays.....sometimes you wake up feeling like you can conquer the world with good intentions and other times.... you don't wake up at all.

I'm determined that this monday will be the beginning of my ambitious summer plans.

I have all these goals, hopes, wishes for this summer- basically me doing things. Without school I have time and energy to devote to others and to me. I think there are things that I need to take care of and address within myself. Not drastic issues like drug addiction, but the thousand little things that add up to make a difference.

I want to grow up but still remain young and innocent.

Our weekend in Weatherford was great! It was so nice to meet everyone and to see Chris, Tucker, and Nate. Everyone was so friendly and gracious it was a little overwhelming! The all-nighter was crazy...incredibly cool. Moments that made the trip:

- YELLOW!

-  The look on Chris's face when I beat him at bowling in the last frame.....absolutely priceless.

- Girl talk with Kate in her room after two hours of sleep.

- Pound it and explode it!

- "This dude is just all over me......"  LB on the hayride.

- When they say they live in texas, they mean they live in texas.

- NERTS! only the best game ever.

- Tucker hitting a little girl in the jugular to get me and LB a blanket.

- Nate without any sleep.

- Being with people that love the Lord, each other, and having a good time.

So Finals madness has begun.

Monday- Bible and PE, plus the CHOW I  take home essay test.

Tuesday- Principles of Sociology and the McDonaldization project is due.

Wednesday- Biology and Speech.

We had campus wide cleaning day yesterday. It was crazy, everyone had to clean their rooms. I cleaned like a maniac, since there's only two of us in a four man suite, we had double the work to do. I did two closets, two beds, three dressers, three desks, my room, the study room and half the bathroom.

My room is bare, just my laundry basket, my dresser and my bunk beds. It's real now. School is almost done and I can't wait! I'm ready to go home. Now.

Speeding Ticket- $300

Haircut- $65

Dinner and a Movie- $20

Wreck in your sisters car- $1000

Getting a clear message from God that He's in control- priceless.
