Just finished our Northern California Christmas party. It was great. It was good to see Chris and Miae.  Thanks Deanne for helping out after. Thanks everyone for coming.

Some of you already know, I hate holidays. Thanksgiving...the day when people get fat and drunk without the annoying music. Why are we doing this again?  To give thanks for a good harvest?  To celebrate the day when white men and natives became 'friends'? To have a reason to cook a turkey?  I don't get it, someone please explain it to me. In CA when we said no to props 68 and 70, some would think thats the same as saying we don't like the natives. I'm grateful for the food I eat, but why do we have to make up holidays when we can eat more of it. How about a national food drive holiday?  People get the day off AND they can give food to hungry people. I'm sure the retailers would support it.

Thanks to our president, the US government gives subsidies to farmers even when they don't even harvest their crops. They just let the food rot. What the fuck.

Job Opening

We need a Messiah, this is what we are looking for.

-Someone who wakes up at 5 in the morning to start the day with God.

-Someone who prays at least five times a day because he loves God.

-Someone who lives every moment thinking about what he can do to further God's providence... because he loves God. 

-Someone who as a young man impressed his friends with his character and ability to love those that didn't share his religous sincerity.

-Someone with enough charisma to inspire young people to fight alongside him.

-Someone that doesn't like the selfish, pornagraphic nature of American culture.

-Someone who has the guts to do something about it

- Someone like Osama bin Laden.

There are no 24 hour diners in the east bay that I know of, but there is a 24 hour Starbucks. The only haven for nocturnal caffine addicts for miles. I finish my black coffee and try to think of something to say.  It's 3am Tuesday, I decided that I would start a xanga. At 3am anything seems like a good idea. I hate it when I decide to get off my ass and stop being lazy at the laziest, most unproductive time of my day. 3am. What the fuck.

As you can see, I'm in a good mood. Hey look, Oojin just logged on =)

The fight or flight mechanism is so interesting, and I had such high hopes for this week.
