| summer is going swell.
ive been keeping busy with the internship and volunteering at the hospital. its actually very tiring, although i only do about 5-6 hours a day monday to thursday. doing this internship has definitely absolutely positively reinforced my hate for engineering (it started at cams). lets be honest, im only doing it for college apps. well, my dad wanted me to do it so i can have 'experience working with other people' blah blah blah. but its just sooooo boring. just thinking about it makes me sleepy. on the contrary, hospital work is quite fun. rather than sitting in my cubicle the whole flipping day, i've gotten to know a lot of new people at the hospital. tuesdays and thursdays are the highlights of my week. :]
aside from working, ive been hanging out with a lottt of people. beach, boba, food, parties, disneyland.. mhmm i love summer. i rarely sleep nowadays because i go out after work and on the weekends. its such a bad habit and the dark circles around my eyes are almost black. i should start sleeping this week since senior picture is this weekend and i dont want to look like a zombie.
i really haven't traveled anywhere this summer. i know all these people going to europe, vietnam, china, japan, etc and im stuck at home. well, suckers im actually going to college! wooop. i went to san jose last weekend. it was pretty wild. im going again next weekend with the whole family for my uncle's nephew's wedding. im sure it'll be fun, especially since i now have my nintendo ds. woop
i finally asked banana out
she makes me happy mm we went to disneyland sunday and had a really, really good time. ;]
ok im really broke now

| i hope you had a fun and safe 4th of july. my 4th of july was realllly fun. i went with my cousins and some friends to the beach in huntington. bbq, boogieboard, chillax, volleyball, and all that other fun stuff.
oh yea, and my car got fucking towed away. well huntington beach is always really really crowded for 4th of july, so people park literally 1 mile away and walk to the beach. well, my cousin and i got there at 1 and so we went into a big lots parking lot. it was so packed, people were parking against this wall in the back of the parking lot. we found a empty spot so we parked there too and then walked to the beach. well long story short they towed my car away because i 'obstructed' the 'fire lane'. i always thought fire lanes were marked with red paint?
it cost me freaking $245.00! the towing fee was $112 and they charged for all this other random crap like labor fee ($45), storage fee ($33), and a 'gate fee' ($55). is that to open and close the freaking gate??? they left me with this paper that says if you believe you were wrongfully towed call your local authorities. i plan on calling tomorrow. it might turn out to be my fault after all, but it wont hurt to try. what do you think? fire lane or not?
notice the receipt: "Thank you, please come again." #(&%##&*#&#*$(&!&##@^&#
as angry as i may sound, im not that mad at all. i was thinking about it and a lot of worse things could've happened like.. my car exploding, or getting stolen, or getting into an accident. it least it was a safe and fun independence day right? im just thinking about all the things i could've done with $245............. |
