So, I don't know about you but, I love math; math has a very special place in my heart. I just happened to have THE best text conversation happen to me on this very night.

So, pretty much reading about you is really hard. Especially when you still call me your best friend and don't contact me AT ALL within the last two weeks. Sometimes I just wish you could go away forever.

Seriously, I'm done. I've been trying to get my life back together, trying to make my senior year worth it and once again, I'm put through another setback.

Lets just say I've been stood up a few times.
-Last year, I decided to hang out with a certain guy friend. I showed up to the location, waited and no show. He simply forgot. Forgiven. We went out the next day and a few days after that too.
-This summer, another boy had been asking and asking to hang out with me so I said yes. I appreciated how persistent he was. He couldn't get down to Seattle so I drove all the way to Auburn. Turns out, he just got off of football practice and had to take care of some family business. Family is important but I'm never driving to Auburn for nothing again.
-Just today, I had planned to go out with a guy that I had just met (sort of). We planned for 6. I cleared everything out of my schedule; no problem. However, this time I decided to call ahead and make sure he was going to be ready. Texted and called but no answer. No way was I going to drive extremely far before recieving a confirmation this time- I logged on to Myspace to pass time. Guess what I found- a comment by his buddy at 5:45 saying that they were expecting him at their event.

All I have to say is, WHAT THE HECK.

The special boy came to visit me at work today. I don't know if it was intentional but it was lovely. It's been a while since I've blushed that much for somebody.

Dear Seattle,
A day like today in your city makes it unbearable to smile. I feel guilty when dispiriting events such as what happened today occur. It makes me angry with you for keeping me here inside of your boundary lines. I know it's not your fault that these malicious incidents happened; the blame belongs to the wrongdoer.

Even so, I still have selfish and naive plans to leave you as soon as possible. Somewhere out there, a college is waiting for me. You can no longer persuade me with a big impressive name such as the University of Washington. No. Life here is not what it used to be anymore, at least not for me.

If there was any better time to turn to alcohol, it would be now, and Seattle, I feel like that's the only opportunity that you're giving me.

Today, a woman came into Stride Rite with her 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I measured her daughter's foot and let the woman know that she measured at a 12.5 so a 13 would be a good size for growing room. She said, "Okay, I want a 13.5." I brought out the 13 as well as the 13.5 for her. We tried them both on. The girl obviously didn't fit the 13.5 because her heel was slipping out of them. I said to her, "I think the 13 is the perfect size." She then turned to her daughter, spoke in Vietnamese and plainly said, "This lady is stupid." She's the stupid one! She tried to fit her son who was a 9.5 into an 11. I HATE HER!
