The past month and a half has been so good. My Dad & Mom were over for a month to visit us. Our friends Chad and Christy also came for a week to visit and encourage us. I was invited to a Specialty Coffee Associtation Europe training event that hosted 24 of the U.K. top baristas...it was a blast for us coffee nerds. We received mentoring from Trouls Poulson, 2005 World Barista Champ ( you can only win it once), he's like the Micheal Jordan of espresso drinks. The U.S.A. has never even made it to the finals of the World Barista Championship, Italy once...but got their butts rocked...it seems Scandanavian countrys are winning it every year...so if you want a rock'n espresso, get to Copenhagen, 3 of the 7 world barista champs hail from Cafe Europa in Copenhagen!!!
